The secrets of Joanne

Dianne's alarm went off and it was 6.00 in the morning. She wiped her eyes, had a quick stretch and got out of bed.  

"Joeyyyy. Time to wake up."

"What's the time?" 

"6 o'clock. We've got rehearsals at 7.30" 

"Alright I'll get up. Are you gonna have a shower first?"

"Yeah sure, I'll be about 20 minutes." 

"Alright, come here." 

Joe sat up and grabbed Dianne's arm. He pulled her close and their lips touched together. 

"I love you Dot." 

"I love you too Joseph."

"Quick question. Should we wake Crystal up now or after we have a shower?" 

"I'll wake her up now and she can just chill in her room, or she can sit with you." 

"Alright. You better go and have a shower. I'll wake her up." 

Dianne smiled and grabbed her towel. She opened the bathroom door and went in.

"Gorgeous! Try not to get red everywhere!"

"Alright, I'll try!"

Joe got up and looked at his phone. Nothing. He was happy that nothing was there. Nothing to distract him. He walked over to the stairs and walked down. He went into Crystal's room and saw his little princess asleep. He went and sat next to her and bent down. 

"Crystal. Time to wake up. You're going to have to come to work with Mummy and Daddy today."

Crystal did a stretch and opened her eyes.

"Hi Daddy."

"Hiya darling. Did you hear what I said?" 

"No." 

"I said that you are going to have to come to work with Mummy and Daddy today." 

"Okay. Why?" 

"There is no one to look after you and Daddy has to go to work with Mummy today." 

"Will Auntie Amy and Auntie Oti be there to?" 

"Yes. Everyone will be there. Auntie Amy, Auntie Oti, Uncle Aljaz, Auntie Janette."

"Auntie Chloe?" 

"No, not Auntie Chloe. But, we can see her soon." 

"Ok." 

"Let's go make some breakfast shall we?" 

"Pancakes!" 

"Okay. Let's go make some pancakes."

It had been 20 minutes and Dianne was now getting changed. She immediately knew what she was going to wear because she planned it yesterday. She put them on and went downstairs, with her phone. 

"I smell something nice. What have you two been cooking?" 

"Pancakes!" 

"Really, Crystal. Did you save any for me?" 

"Yeah, there is some on the table for you Mummy." 

"Aw thank you. After I've finished these, you need to have a shower, okay?" 

"Okay Mummy." 

"Um, Joe did you tell her where we are going" 

"Yeah I did. She's excited to see her Aunties and Uncles."
