Chapter 16

*3rd Person POV*

After rushing out of the room, Maeve, Liam, and Louis calmed themselves then knocked on the door.they heard rustling and Wagner's unmistakable accent before they heard Mary.

"Come in! The door is always unlocked!" they Pushed it open bracing themselves for the scene but were met by a clean office with Mary working on a stack of papers.

"Hello darlings, what can I do for you today?" she asked cheerily. They walked up to the desk showing her the note and explaining the story. She looked concerned. "Well I certainly don't want any Higgins to die but I have to agree with Louis and Lou. We need to send him over fast but-"

She cut herself off and a wide smile spread across her face. "I know how we can save both Louis and the thirty Higgins." she explained her idea and all three of them got mischievous smiles until they heard Wagner.

"Mary? Can I come out of the closet now?" he asked from a closet. The three younger ones burst out laughing and what he just said while Mary turned bright red. She quickly shooed them out of the room while they went to start the plan.

*Cowell's House*

Harry smirked to himself as he thought if how pleased Simon would be. He tapped his pencil on the desk before throwing it and impaling the picture of Louis he had hanging up on the wall. It wasn't the first pencil. There were three others sticking out in various places. He picked up another pencil and was about to throw it when he heard a knock. He groaned and got up.

He swung open the door to reveal Cowell him self standing there. Harry quickly composed himself before speaking.

"Hello Cowell. What brings me the pleasure of seeing you?" he asked trying to be polite. Cowell waved his hand and marched right through into Harry's dorm, slamming the door behind him.

"Harry. I've heard what happened through other people's point of views but I want to hear yours. What happened?" he growled. Harry was surprised. Why didn't he ask him earlier? Harry was the top Hunter after all. Cowell saw his confused look. "Since you were spotted helping Maeve, we replaced your spot with Zayn. Now what happened?"

"We appeared, Wagner was with Louis at a park dressed in a meat costume, we fought, everyone was killed, I left a note." Harry stuttered out. He was still shocked. He was replaced? With his best friend? Cowell looked at him.

"What did the note say?" he asked curious.

"It said 'Higgins, Consider this your warning. I give you until this Saturday to hand over the Cure. If you don't hand him over, I will personally come get my purse and take down maybe thirty or so Higgins singlehandedly. See you in five days! -Hazzabear'" he quoted. Cowell's eyes widened.

"Harry! That is absolutely brilliant! If this works, you get your spot back." he said standing up and saluting Harry before exiting the room. Harry was stunned. First he was replaced, then now he might be unreplaced. This confused him so much his head hurt trying to think about it.

A/N so short chapter with not much action but don't worry. The big fight starts in chapter eighteen and goes until nineteen then an epilogue to start the next book :D oh yeah and everyone dies just a little warning
