Grayson's POV

"Chloe will kill me if she walks down the aisle to see your tie like that" Ethan scoffs.

"Chloe always ties my ties" I admit embarrassed.

"I don't like ties" Sean states, "do I have to wear one?"

"Yes, leave it on" I sigh.

"Why?"

"Because I'm getting married, and your mom will kill me if she sees that your not wearing your tie" I explain calmly for 3rd time.

"Why?"

"Honestly son, I thought it was stupid to make a 6 year old wear a tie too. I knew you'd complain about it constantly, but when your mom found a tie that matched mine she was over the moon and I couldn't tell her no"

"No dad, why are you getting married?" he asks, taking me by surprise.

"Because I love your mom and I want to spend the rest of my life with her" I state simply.

"I love mom too" he smiles, accepting my answer with no more questions. Sean is at the age now where he questions absolutely everything.

"Grayson!" Madison knocks on the door to our hotel room, "Chloe needs Sean"

"Leave your tie on and be good for your mom" I warn him while fixing his tie.

"I love you dad"

"I love you too, I'll see you soon" I smile as Madison takes his hand and they go to find Chloe.

"The ceremony starts in 10 minutes" Ethan reminds me, "are you ready?"

"I've been ready to marry this girl since the day I met her"

"Well it's finally happening. Let's go" he smiles excitedly.

I haven't been nervous about getting married, but I definitely am now, standing at the top of the aisle.

Before I even have time to take in what's going on, the music starts playing and the doors open.

First to walk down the aisle is Sean and Bella, my beautiful son and daughter. Followed by Ethan and Madison, the best man and maid of honour.

And then I see her, the most beautiful woman in the world. I can't believe I get to spend the rest of my life with her.

I can't hold back my tears anymore as she starts walking down the aisle, with both of her dads.

Her dad's place her hands in mine and kiss her cheeks before taking their seats.

"Hi" Chloe whispers, with tears in her eyes and I smile at her like an idiot.

I've known Chloe since she was 21, 9 years later and she still has me lost for words.

"Friends and family, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Grayson Dolan and Chloe Bolton in marriage" the pastor begins, "the couple have both decided to write their own vows" he announces before taking a step back and letting us begin.

Grayson's vows
Chloe, I don't even know where to begin, so I'm going to start from our very first date. The day you made a bet that I'd fall in love with you. I've always been a competitive person, but this time I was so happy to lose, because I got to spend the last 9 years knowing what it is like to be loved by you. They have been the most amazing 9 years of my life, but I wanted to make another bet. So I did, when I said I'd marry you one day. I will now spend the rest of my life knowing what it is is like to be loved by you, and that is my greatest accomplishment. I am madly in love with you, I couldn't possibly put it into words, but I'll try. You are insanely beautiful, inside and out. You're my best friend, and you never fail to make me laugh. I love your intelligent mind, your laugh, your smile and your positivity. Before we met, I was a stupid boy with no motivation, making a lot of mistakes. Then you came along and showed me how amazing life can really be. You stood by me and loved me through my darkest times, when I truly didn't deserve you, but without you I wouldn't have made it. You're my silver lining and my light at the end of a very dark tunnel, I couldn't possibly thank you enough. If being the perfect woman wasn't enough, you're also the perfect mom. 6 years ago you brought the most amazing little boy into the world, and 4 years later when I thought life couldn't possibly get any better you brought our beautiful baby girl into the world. Everyday you show our children kindness and grace. You teach them how to be brave and strong. We are forever grateful for you and everything you do for us. I truly can not believe that I really get to spend the rest of my life with you. You made me into the man and the father I am today. I love you Chloe, and I promise I will love you until the day I die.
