The Accident

She was sleeping soundly until....

The car jerked and  she hit the front.

Lisa woke up with a start.

Her head had bumped the front screen.

Sehun rubbed her forehead in circles in order to get rid of the pain.

He hugged her. His arms protectively wrapped around her waist. Lisa rested her head on his shoulder. Sehun kissed the crown of her head and began rubbing her back in circles.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt somewhere? Do you feel pain anywhere? Talk to me,"Sehun said and there was no mistaking the worry in his voice.

He pressed his palm on several places near her face and scanned her for any sign of injury. She seemed alright.

"Sehun," she said.

"What's happening?"

Sehun didn't know himself. He looked at Lisa who was curled up in his arms. She was scared. He knew she was sensitive.

"I'll  go ask. You stay here okay? Lock there doors."

Lisa nodded.

Sehun opened the door and got out of the car. Once he was outside, he shut the door and tapped on the window, indicating that Lisa had to lock the doors.

Lisa obeyed and saw Sehun disappearing out of view.

Their were many cars in front of their's. It was a total traffic jam.

Lisa noticed it was night time. The stars smiled down at her. All around her,  people were looking frustrated and annoyed. They were constantly pressing the horn. Many even came out of the cars and went to the front.

Lisa was curious. She didn't know much about the world but she did know that something was definitely going on.

She decided to distract herself until Sehun came back. She looked out towards the bushes.

She thought she saw them move. Lisa stiffened a bit.

It's just a cat, she told herself.

Or a lost baby bunny

Or some other baby animal.

She heard a loud growl and then two bright red eyes came into view. The eyes were attached to a black figure.

She looked closer. It was a dog. It was bigger for it's breed. The dog looked vicious. It had two sharp fangs on either side of his mouth and gleaming red eyes. The dog had razor sharp claws and was frightening.

Lisa gulped and double checked the doors to make sure that they were locked.

Sehun made his way through the crowd. The whole atmosphere was annoying. He squeezed through the crowd in the front where people stood gasping, gulping and staring glumly.

Sehun found a police officer in the distance. He sprinted towards him.

"Officer," he bowed.

The officer turned to look at him.

"Yes?"

"What's going on?"

"There have been signs," sighed the officer.

Sehun followed the officer's gaze and his eyes landed on a body.

It was a woman's.

She was covered in blood from head to toe. She had been skinned. Her body was covered in cuts and her heart had been taken out.

It lay beside her and was cut in half.

One letter was carved on each side.

H on one side and C on the other.

"Heart carver," Sehun said in a gravely dangerous voice.

The officer nodded.

Sehun sprinted back to the car. He was worried Lisa might be scared.

Lisa looked at the dog. Her heart started pounding in her chest. Beads of sweat were shining on her forehead.

Suddenly, someone tapped on her window.....
