"Help! Help!" yelled a person inside the tall tower.
The tower was surrounded by dragons, dinosaurs, and thieves. The Winter Festival Play was a knight and princess story. The script was made by Yuri Godrasil, and directed by Adrian Stolfo. Val helped with the movement of the props from backstage.
"You know," commented Val, "When you said that we were going to make a knight and princess story, I didn't think it would be like this."
"People will definitely get a laugh out of it," smirked Yuri, holding the script book.
"Besides, I'm sure people would like to see a little twist," replied Adrian, trying to make things look positive.
"I am but a simple knight who has lost his way," yelled Brian from the tower, a little frustrated with his role, "I've also lost all of my equipment, and seemed to have been trapped in this tall tower!"
The audience looked confused that the knight was stuck in the tower, yet was intrigued to find out what was going to happen next. Suddenly, Jazz appeared from behind the curtains.
"Was that a shout of help.. from the tower I just escaped?" said Jazz nervously, then picking up a sword on the ground, "Did someone lose this? ..I can probably use this to help the person.. from the tall tower!"
Jazz pretended to walk as Val set up the props for the forest. Around her, trees propped up as two figures were hiding behind a bush.
"I think this is our part in the play," said a voice.
"No shit, Sherlock," replied another voice, hiding in the bush, "We're the first ones that will appear."
Suddenly, Styx and Jak jumped out of the bush in ragged clothing, simulating a thief outfit. In their hands were rubber knives, and they wore hoods to hide their faces from the audience.
"Hands up!" yelled Jak.
"We're mugging you!" yelled Styx, "Hand us all of your valuables, princess!"
Jazz forgot her lines and began to hit Jak and Styx repeatedly. She began to hit them up to the point where the rubber sword began to hurt.
"Not so hard!" they yelled.
Jazz couldn't hear and keep whacking Jak and Styx into submission before she noticed that they had passed out. Val dragged the bodies to the backstage and began setting up props for the next scene, which was a little desert. There, a dinosaur appeared, roaring.
"Rawrrrr uwu!" yelled Kaleb inside the dinosaur outfit, "Who dare trespass in my territory?"
"There could only be room for one Dino in this play," replied Jazz, holding her rubber sword.
"What? I don't understa—"
Jazz began to whack Kaleb with the rubber sword, making him fall down. Kaleb yelled to stop but Jazz kept whacking once again. After ignoring the words of "uncle," Jazz finally had beaten Kaleb unconscious.
"That's kinda brutal.." said Val backstage, "Is that even in the script?"
"It isn't," replied Yuri, smiling, "But this is definitely something amusing to watch. It doesn't matter if things go off script, as long as people are having fun."
Adrian looked over at the audience, "Hmm you're kinda right Yuri. Half of the audience is laughing, and half are almost but not really concerned."
"That's good," she relied as she looked over the script, "Now onto the next scene, which will be our finale!"
The desert props were taken away by Val, and she began to send in some more props. This marked the final act of the play, as steam began to roll in and the tall tower appeared. Inside the tall tower was Brian, who was mumbling things to himself.
