The library was grand and huge. There were thousands of books, ranging from big lengthy ones to short novels. Almost all of them were in different languages that Val couldn't read. There were also podiums on the ground, with artifacts inside them. The artifacts were questionable in what they were, but were probably of high value.
For example, Val found a broken blade of a sword that was bent. It's like someone was strong enough to break such a thing. It was labeled, "The Korblack Sword." What's a Korblack?
Another artifact looked like a the limb of a corpse. It looked disgusting to Val, with green liquids spewing out of it. It was labeled, "Radiation Zombie." There's probably some sort of zombie reality out there somewhere. How terrifying.
There was also a vial on the podium. It had a grayish colored liquid in it and it was labeled "13-SWJR-6." This vial was probably used in some sort of experiment.
Val then heard something weird from another podium. It was like the artifact was calling to her. Inside the podium's glass was a white sphere. It looked like a little orb or ball. The odd thing about it was that the podium was labeled, so she didn't know what it was called.
Break me.. Destroy me.. End my life..
Val jumped back. Did the sphere just talk to her?
End my life..
It did! How was this happening? Did the sphere want to be broken or something?
"Hey, Val!" yelled Brian, "Don't stare at the artifacts too long. Law is a weirdo when he collects these things, completely oblivious to what they could do. Some of them might be dangerous. Don't be tempted to take them."
Kaleb stared at the white orb that Val was looking at.
"I've actually heard rumors of this sphere," said Kaleb, "They come from a different Alpha universe. If you break them, you get to wish for something, like a genie."
"That universe must be lucky to have those things," replied Val.
"Hey!" yelled Brian, "Let's not forget what we came here for!"
The crew explored the library, trying their best to look for the office of Law. They walked through a long corridor, filled with nothing but shelves of multiple books. Val couldn't read most of the book titles. However there were some that caught her interest like, 'Ikarus,' 'Blood of the Innocent,' and 'Extermination Point.'
"People say that Law's library is never fictional," stated Neos, "Meaning that every book in this library tells a tale of someone's experience in a certain event. Probably in some different reality or dimension. It sounds pretty cool."
"Do we have a book written about us?" asked Val.
"I doubt it," said Jak, "Why would there be a book written about us? We don't really have an interesting story to tell anyways unlike these other books."
After a few minutes of walking, Kaleb led the front while the rest of the crew followed.
"How much longer do we have to walk?" groaned Styx, "I'm getting so tired!"
"Can't we take a break?" replied Jak, "It feels like we've been walking for hours.."
"You guys are so unfit," smiled Brian, "Are you guys really gods? What a disgrace."
"What did you say to me?" yelled Jak getting worked up.
"I said what I said!" replied Brian.
Jak and Brian began to bicker to each other during the whole duration of the walk. It was until the crew found a huge doorway blocking their path when they stopped bickering.
"That's a pretty giant door," said Val, "Can you now explain why there's a giant door blocking our way?"
"Proportions have been messed up in Law's realm," explained Neos, as Jazz teleported to the doorknob to turn it, "We're all pretty used to the weird arrangement that Law made by now."
"Miniature galaxies, infinite libraries, artifacts from who knows where, and giant doors.." thought Val, "What am I doing with my life? I don't even understand half of what's happening!"
"Confused?" asked Jak, "It's alright. This door leads to Law's office. Everything about Law and his realm is safeguarded so that no random being comes across it.
For example, the gateway to Law's realm could only be achieved in a certain point. Kaleb and I have knowledge of that certain point. Also, to enter the realm, the manipulation of reality has to occur, such as the book.
Brian then knows the way to the library, and Jazz has the ability to turn the doorknob by getting to it easily by teleportation.
Everything is safeguarded to prevent trespassers."
"So.. beyond this point," said Val, "It will be Law's office? The place where we will negotiate with him?"
"Hope to negotiate," replied Kaleb, "All is left to do is to hope that everything turns out good."
