[No POV]
Things had been hard for Tom so far. Edd had just come back from the hospital because Tom broke his nose, and Tord tried in every way to avoid him after what he had done.

"Dammit!" Tom screamed in his room. If only Tord could see the way Tom could. Tord knew nothing about what really happened the previous nights. And it would stay that way if Tom didn't do something.

Days had passed since the "incident." Edd and Tord are now dating, and Tom hated that. The only way left that he could think of was to find a way to break them apart. After everything Tord had seen Tom do, it was obvious he wouldn't trust what Tom would say to him. That meant that Tom would have to find a way to do it without anyone noticing.

"Hey Tim!" Matt exclaimed, walking into Tom's room. Tom was less than pleased to see the mindless idiot walking into his room while he was trying to come up with a plan. "Hey Matt." Tom groaned, sitting on his bed. "Can you tell me what is bothering you?" Matt asked looking serious for once, automatically changing his expression after seeing how Tom looked so unhappy.

"Look, it's nothing important okay?" Tom said, crossing his arms. "Okay, I know you might think I'm an idiot. But you're my friend, and I want to know what's wrong." Matt stated. "You wouldn't understand." Tom grumbled, moving away from Matt while still sitting down. "Yes I would. Is it something with Edd?" Matt asked, looking at Tom. He didn't reply.

"You haven't been talking to Edd and Tord lately. Is it because they are dating?" Matt asked again. "Kinda." Tom replied, looking at the floor and turning his head away from Matt. "Did you have a crush on Edd or something?" Matt asked again. Tom began getting annoyed of the questions. "No, of course not." Tom said sternly. "Then it's Tord, huh." Matt said, getting Tom to look at him.

"Why? What do you want to know anyway?" Tom asked, groaning. "Well...." Matt couldn't respond. Tom and Tord hated each other for so long. "Look, there is no way you can help me. Now can you leave?" Tom asked, motioning Matt to the door. Matt stood up and gave Tom a look that said "Sorry," before leaving. Just before he left, Tom had an idea. "Matt, actually, I think you might be able to help me with something..." Tom said. Matt walked back into the room and shut the door behind him as he went to sit back on Tom's bed.

"I've seen you with Edd, and you seem to have a crush on him, right?" Tom asked. Matt's face flushed a light shade of pink before he nodded to Tom's question. Tom smiled. "Do you want to help me break them up?" Tom asked him. "Uhm....How?" Matt asked, fidgeting with his fingers. "Well if you love Edd, just hang out with him a lot and gain his trust and then boom." Tom said, snapping his fingers.

"Well, Okay then. What do I get out of it?" Matt questioned, still unsure of his answer. "You get Edd. All to yourself, and if you do it I'll get Tord." Tom said. "Well, Okay then. What if it doesn't work?" Matt asked. "Well then, it doesn't matter. If all of us are still friends, that's fine." Tom said, giving Matt a thumbs up. "Okay then. Deal." Matt said, placing his hand out for Tom to shake. "Deal." Tom said, shaking the ginger's hand.

That was when Tom made the biggest mistake of his whole life.
