tyler entered the coffee shop once again to see how busy it was, which wasn't normal. he almost turned around and walked away, but he is sort of addicted to the hot chocolate now. he stood in the small line at the counter before his turn came around.

"what can i get you, sir?" a red head boy asked him.

"a large hot chocolate please." he said, trying to ignore his disappointment that haven wasn't here yet again.

"that'll be $2.50" the boy said, taking the $3 that tyler had outstretched to him. he handed him his fifty cents in change, again tyler discarding it into the 'tips' jar. "your drink will be ready in a few minutes. have a great day!"

tyler nodded and half smiled, "thank you." he turned and luckily it was just in time for a customer to leave his normal table open. he sat down, pulling out his journal and pen. he had an idea that he started last night that he wanted to finish up, if possible. he began writing a few words that could work in the next verse of the song.

"finally! we called you in forever ago!" the red head boy announced, causing tyler to look up and see haven rushing through the door. she was smiling and swung her purse off her shoulder as she made her way around the counter. she pulled her long hair into a bun and tied her red apron around her waist. tyler couldn't help but watch her with a smile on his face.

"why is it so busy today? is there an event happening downtown?" haven asked the red head as she picked up on the drink orders and began making the drinks.

"yeah, comfest is this weekend." the boy bluntly said, returning his attention to the customer at the register.

"that makes sense! busy busy busy!" haven sang as she flicked on the blender and picked up a drink she just poured.

tyler's heart stopped when she made her way around the counter and started walking towards him. she smiled and pushed an escaping hair behind her ear. "large hot chocolate?" she questioned him.

he smiled and nodded, almost forgetting to answer her as their eyes locked. "that's me."

she giggled and set the drink down on the table for him, "be careful, it's hot!"

he chuckled, "oh is that why they call it hot chocolate?"

she laughed and turned on her heel to return to the counter, but turned back around to tyler momentarily. "you got me there! just don't burn your mouth, got it?" she joked, wiggling her eyebrow at him.

tyler jokingly saluted her, "got it."

she laughed again and returned to making the drinks.

tyler could only think of two things for the rest of the night.
1) she remembered his drink order.
2) he made her laugh, twice.
