*Morning*
*Sub Shop*

[Interviewer (From Issue #1): So...you nervous?]

*Gyro glanced at him while in work uniform, then stared at several of the ingredients in front of her. She takes a deep breath, folding her arms and reluctantly nodding her head to him*

Gyro: Well, I'm not going to be doing actual work today, right?

*He stared at her with a visibly fake smile*

Interviewer: Exactly, you'll be shadowing one of our best today.

*Gyro's eyes grew wide once peering over to the goth cashier (from issue #1). The cashier walked toward her with a sub shop uniform on, nodding to the interviewer*

Interviewer: You got this, right Casey? Thank you!

*He swiftly darted to the back office while Casey goggled at Gyro, sporting a smile. Suddenly she blurts out a quick chuckle as she took a step toward Gyro*

Casey: Small world, huh super hero...and I see you've met Barry.
Gyro: You work here too?
Casey: Well, rent ain't cheap. I'm seriously surprised you all took the job. Between me and Barry we thought you all would run off to join the Avengers...or some other superhero group.
Gyro: Well, believe it or not, we don't have time for these hero groups. Besides they're all a bunch of losers, anyway.

*Casey proudly nodded to her, taking a step behind the counter*

Casey: You know, you're definitely not what I expected. Say, what's your power anyway?
[Irate Woman: Hello!!!]

*They instantly stared over to an older middle-aged woman at the entrance whose presence caused a brief moment of silence. She dramatically storms up to the counter. Her angry narrowed eyes and furrowed eyebrows invoked her menacing look. Casey, subtly popping in a piece of gum, immediately grew a joyful demeanor amidst the irate woman's presence*

Casey: Oh sorry Ma'am, can I take your-
Irate Woman: Is that all you do around here!? Is talk and talk and- whatever, can I have a sub with extra meatballs- no lettuce!
Casey: Certainly.

*Casey focused her attention on preparing the Sub while Gyro silently scoffed, staring off at a tomato on the counter*

Irate Woman: I should have gone somewhere else.

*Gyro's second silent scoff became louder, causing Casey to cautiously glance over to her. Within that short glance, as the two caught eyes, Casey's face grew of sudden dread*

Irate Woman: Oh!? Do you have a problem with me, girl!?

*Gyro and Casey gawked over to her with wide eye shock as the irate woman glares to Gyro*

Gyro: No, I'm just uh...anxious about my first day.

*The woman sighed, shaking her head to them while Casey put her wrapped sub on the counter. Casey quickly rang her up at the cash register as the mounted TV above them played a news clip of the Avengers. The woman momentarily viewed the screen in seething anger while she snatched her sub*

Irate Woman: And will you look at that! Our so called saviors! Yet, we're standing in their biggest graveyard!

*She storms out of the store, leaving everyone with an empty and awkward silence. Casey sighed in relief with her joyful demeanor slowly changing into a defeated look. She turns back to Gyro, glancing back at the door, hoping the woman doesn't storm back in*
