My hands slid softly through El's silky brown hair, as her hands gently pressed against my cheeks. Our lips moved together with the rhythm of "Never Surrender" by Corey Hart, which was blasting away on her yellow boom box, and I gently smiled against her lips, never tired of kissing her, especially after all the events of six months before, with closing The Gate and exorcising my little brother. I had almost lost her, and she had almost lost me. We were sitting on the bed in her room, at Hopper's cabin, and spending some quality makeout time together. I smiled, and pulled back a bit, and she smiled at me, a confused but excited look on her face. I made a funny face, and started singing,"And nobody wants to know you now", in a silly, high pitched voice, dancing with her. She got a shocked look on her face, and said,"Sarah." I kept singing off key, and she giggled, trying to cover my mouth. I pulled back, and kept singing, and she tried again."Sarah!" As my voice got even louder, she said,"Sarah!", and I stopped, looking at her. She giggled, and I stuck out my tongue. She laughed harder, and said,"Stop." I pretended to be confused."Why? Don't you like it?" In a laughter filled voice, she shook her head, and said,"No." I giggled, and slowly leaned forward, as she did the same, and we started kissing again. We were so engrossed in our little makeout session, we forgot all about Hopper being right there in the living room. He yelled,"Hey!", and El and I both jumped, quickly looking up. I blushed, as I saw him looking at us, and knew he'd seen us kissing. El quickly raised a hand, and her bedroom door slammed shut. Hopper shouted,"Hey! Three inch minimum! Leave the door open three inches!", and then pounded on the door. He yelled,"El, open this door! Open this door!"

El and I quickly grabbed some magazines, and opened them, laying opposite directions and at least two inches apart from each other. We looked at each other, and as Hopper yelled,"Open-", I rolled my eyes, and jerked my head a bit, the bedroom door flying open to reveal a very red faced Hopper. El and I innocently looked up from our magazines, and I asked as convincingly as possible,"What's wrong?" Hopper looked between us, and I could tell he didn't believe we hadn't been doing anything. He gave me a dirty look, and then left the room. About thirty minutes later, I sped on my bike towards town, laughing with El over my Supercomm."Oh my God,that was priceless! Did you see his face?!" El replied,"It was like a tomato." I tried not to laugh, and said,"Yeah..A fat tomato." El went quiet for a second, then said in a sad voice,"I wish I was still with you." My heart melted at that, and I smiled. I said,"Me too..But I'll see you tomorrow, okay? First thing." El replied,"Tomorrow", and then we stopped talking. I rode my bike as fast as I could up to the brand new Starcourt Mall, and parked it, running up to the front doors, where Mike, Will, Lucas, and Max were all waiting. My brother sighed, and said,"You're late..Again." Lucas said,"Yeah, we're gonna miss the opening." I rolled my eyes, and said,"Yeah, if you keep complaining, instead of hurrying." I started walking fast, going inside the mall, the largeness of the interior still overwhelming me a bit, and they ran after me. Lucas said,"Let me guess..You were busy?" I sighed, annoyed, and said,"Oh, real mature, Lucas." He said,"Oh, El, I wish we could make out forever and never hang out with any of our friends." Mike said,"Shut up, Lucas." Max told him,"Lucas, stop it." Lucas laughed, and replied,"Will thinks it's funny, don't you?" My brother said,"Yeah..That's because it is." I sighed, and told them,"Yeah, it's so funny that I want to spend romantic time with my girlfriend." Lucas wrapped an arm around Max's shoulders, and I couldn't help but smile, as he replied,"I'm spending romantic time with my girlfriend." We pushed and shoved our way down the escalator, accidentally bumping into a few people, and a girl yelled,"Watch it!" As we passed by a sitting area with plants behind it, Lucas' little sister Erica said,"Yeah, watch it, nerds!" We kept walking, and Lucas asked,"Isn't it past your bedtime?" Erica replied smartly,"Isn't it time for you to die?" I tried hard not to laugh, and Lucas yelled,"Psycho!", at his sister. She yelled back,"Butthead!" As we reached our destination, Lucas shouted,"Mall rat!", and Erica shot back,"Fart face!" Lucas stuck out his tongue, and made a rude noise, and Max tugged him away by his arm, rolling her eyes."Oh, well that was mature." I laughed quietly, covering it with a fake cough, and raced after my friends into the Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream Parlor, where Steve Harrington now worked.
