His face was red. I quickly ate the cookie, rubbing in the fact that I got it, and then got off of him.

"Should've just given me a cookie..." I sighed, laughing a bit.

He crossed his arms, and faced away from me, still a little red.

"Aww c'mon? You really mad?" I ask worried.

He still didn't say anything, but he turned his head for a second, to give me a brief death stare, then faced away again.  For some reason he reminded me of a grumpy bunny.

"Well, we have work to do tomorrow.  So, hurry up and get some sleep." I said, starting to head upstairs.

"Fuck you!" He stated blatantly.

Me and him probably cuss the most out of all the hermits, but we usually don't curse around each other due to habit. I turned around to see him still facing away from me.

"Hey... Language young man." I joked, "That wasn't very nice."

I walked around to the back of the couch, quietly so he wouldn't notice until he saw me.

"It's not nice to steal someone's cookies." He said, still upset.

"I only took one.  I'm sorry." I said, sitting down on my knees, so I could rest my arms on the back of the couch.

"Fine, I only am forgiving you because you're staying here."

"Alright I'm going to bed, goodnight." I said, getting back up and heading to bed.

"Night."

I was now laying in bed, well Grian's bed. I texted mum, asking if she could take care of Benji on such short notice. She's most likely not up, so I'll have to take care of him tomorrow when I visit. If she can't take care of him, I don't know what I'm going to do.  She should be able too though, I can usually count on her.  I then moved on to the hermits, the Americans were still on.  I created another chat room, careful not add Grian.

Hey guys, sorry if I worried you earlier.  Grian's cat Pearl, has gone missing.  I'm staying over to try and help find her.  I'll keep you guys updated.

That seemed good, straightforward.  Now it was time for me to sleep.  Before I could get situated, Grian's other kitty, Maui, was quite curious of me.  He jumped up on the bed and sniffed me vigorously.

"Hey, Grian needs you more than me." I said lightly.

He continued to sniff, I patted him, letting him know I was friendly.  Once he was comfortable, he found a spot by my legs and laid down.  I was much more comfortable admittedly, however, one thing was bothering me.  Everything smelled like Grian...  It wasn't a bad smell, in fact it was a good smell, just not what I'm used too.  Within a few minutes, I was adjusted to his scent, and like Maui, I was fast asleep soon after.

I woke up, feeling like everything that happened yesterday was a dream.  It was real though, I realized, waking up still in his bed.  Maui was gone, and it was quiet.  After I freshened up in the bathroom, annoyed I'm still going to have morning breath, I made my way downstairs.

I was stopped in my tracks once I was downstairs.  Two things I couldn't take my eyes off of.  First, Grian was still fast asleep, Maui in-between his arms, also asleep.  But the other was Pearl!  She was just outside, I could see her through the glass sliding door.  However she saw me, her guard was up, I needed Grian.  I slowly walked up to the air mattress, I looked down once I saw she would stay.  Once I looked down though, I couldn't look back up.  He was breathing steadily, and he looked so nice in the morning light.  And—what am I doing?!  I shook him a bit, and he easily woke up, Maui was even frightened a bit.

"W—What?" He asked, clearly confused and mildly upset.

"It's Pearl!" I whispered pointing towards her discretely.

"What!?" He asked getting up, still groggy.

"It's Pearl!" I repeated, this time with more urgency.

He looked outside in disbelief.  She was still there, but we needed to act fast.

"Get the treats!  They're in the bread box!" He said now equally as urgent.

I complied, rushing a bit over to the kitchen, grabbing the treats.  While I did that Grian slowly opened the back door, opening it so he could just fit through.  He was outside, now crouching and calling for her.

"Grian." I whispered, handing him the treats through the door.

He grabbed them, and you could see Pearl light up.  She easily trotted up to him.  Grian gave her a treat, and then scooped her up.  He quickly made his way inside once he had her, and closed the door gently.  He was crying, but it was out of happiness.  He was hysterical, smiling and crying from the joy.  After a few seconds, he let her down, so she could take care of herself.  I watched as she trotted away, once again I was caught off guard as the smol man wrapped his arms around me.

"Thank you, Oliver." He said gratefully.

Not only did he hug me, he said my real name, causing me to blush, redder then I'd like to admit.  I hugged him back, resting my head on his.  Not even Oli, my full name, Oliver.

"You're welcome, Charles..." I said sweetly.

He chuckled, "It sounds weird, hearing you say it..." his voice was still muffled being in my chest.

We were interrupted however, Grian's doorbell rang.  We broke apart together, both surprised and a little red.

"I'll go get that..." Grian stated, putting his head down.

I was curious who it was, so I hid a little.  Grian looked out, and quickly opened the door, noticing who it was.

"Taurtis!" Grian said surprised.
