His certain smile, his laugh, his touch, his kiss. He occupied my thoughts. He was all I could think about. And I could not stop smiling.
That Monday morning I forced myself to study math, since my school day did not begin until 12 am. I really tried to concentrate but it was hard given that I just kept thinking about last night. I could still feel his skin against mine, my fingers in his hair and I could here the sound of his voice.
I gave up studying for a minute and entered the kitchen to make myself some tea. My mum sat at our kitchen table sorting paper, probably bills. She had a cold this weekend so she had decided to skip work for today.
"Are you studying?" She asked me without looking up from the papers.
"Yes, math." I responded while I heated the water for my tea.
"Is it a struggle?"
"Kind of yes." I made my tea and was about to go back to my room, but my mum stopped me.
"Oh, Aine! You can bring your cleaned clothes to your room." She said and pointed on the pile of laundry in the living room.
"Okey, thanks."
"And I found a big jumper in your room, it had dirt of some sort on it so I cleaned it. Is it yours?"
How could I have forgotten! Bryan lent me his jumper when I was bleeding from my head, and of course my mother was going to find it. How should I explain that? Luckily, she did not see that the "dirt of som sort" was nothing else than my blood. I had to come up with an explanation, or more exactly - a lie - right in this moment, so I said the first thing that came to my mind.
"Oh, I happened to spill tomato sauce on a guy in the canteen... I offered to clean it for him." I said trying to keep a natural "nothing strange about that"- face.
Now my mum looked up from her paper work, with lifted eye brows.
"Oh, how nice of you, darling. That's very kind."
I hurried back to my room, afraid of being busted. I put down the cup of tea on my nightstand and I threw the laundry on my bed in a messy pile. I glinted Bryan's jumper. I reached for it and put it on. I walked to my full body mirror to see myself. It was comfortable, dark blue and way to large for me. But I liked it, it was Bryan's jumper after all.
Then the thought hit me that if mum entered my room she would wonder why I was wearing it. So I locked the door. I wanted to avoid more lies today.
After an hour I knew I had not studied enough, but it was impossible, so I started to pack my books, drank up my tea and headed to school.

"This can never end up good." Layla said while we waited outside the classroom before the math test.
"Not for me either. I tried to study this morning but I just couldn't concentrate."
"But you'll make it, Aine. You studied this weekend, I didn't."
I had almost forgotten. That was what Layla thought I'd been doing when she called me yesterday and told me about the concert tickets. Which I almost had forgotten about. I would have to tell her sometime, I couldn't pretend like nothing had happened. I had experienced my first kiss yesterday. I know, it's late for being eighteen, but I had never fancied anyone before, or nobody had fancied me back.
But the thought of telling anyone about me and Bryan almost made me blush. Layla was after all my very best friend, and she deserved to know what was going on. And If I couldn't tell Layla, how would I be able to tell anyone at all? I would tell her today, or maybe tomorrow.
We were let into the classroom and students streamed into the room. When we all had taken a seat and our teacher was about to hand out the tests, my phone rang.
"That one should be turned off." My teacher said with a serious voice and looked at me without a move. So did everyone else.
"Sorry." I said and picked up my phone and threw an eye on the display to see who was calling, before I hung up.
AN: Thanks for still reading my story! I'll post the next chapter soon, I promise!
