I called Bryan when I had finished my last class for today. He drove by in his car ten minuets after I called. I knew a very little about cars, but that car looked... Expensive or...new? Yeah, okey, I'm not the right person to comment on a car, but at least it looked good. However, I had nothing against being escorted in this beauty.
"Nice car." I said and jumped in. He leaned over and gave me a light kiss and stayed with his face close to mine. I had to restrain myself to not demand for more. But when Bryan placed his hand on my thigh, i could not resist anymore. I kissed him harder as I stroke my fingers through his hair, irritated over the shift lever that made it impossible to move even closer.
"We... should not..." Bryan spoke between the kisses.
"What...?" I couldn't understand what he aimed at.
"Here..." He said. "People can see us..."
"Would that matter?"
''Uh...no, I mean can't we drive somewhere else where we're alone?"
"You want to see how I live? My parents work late."
"Sure, where to go?"
I guided our way to my house. After a lot of laughing when Bryan took the wrong turns while misunderstanding my way finding, we finally reached my house.
"After you." I said when I had unlocked the door to the apartment.
"Your place is not small either." He said and took a a quick look around while he hang his jacket on a hook beside the door. "Now I want to see your bedroom."Bryan said and put a hand on his hip when he mimicked my voice. I could not not laugh, either could Bryan.
"Stop making fun of me!" I said trying my best to sound serious. "Do you want to see it or are you just being dumb?"
"Both would be the most honest answer."
We walked giggling together to my room. I panicked inside for a second, my room was a mess. Clothes lay all over my floor. But then I realised who was my company. Bryan was nobody to comment on cleaning. Instead his eyes cached the painting which stood on my desk, leaned against the wall.
"Is it me?" Bryan said and glanced at me when he pointed at the canvas. The painting imaged a female face in black and different shades of green and blue. Her face was half covered by her long dark hair.
"Yep. It's you. I really tried to get your hairstyle right there, I think I really nailed those green highlights of yours."
''What do you say, shall I go for all green? The green colour kind of brings out my cheekbones in a flattering way."
I just could't hold back my laugh after he said that. It just sounded so silly.
"Definitely! And, grow your hair long. It would be the next attractive thing in music business."
Bryan gave me a look which could tell something had reached his mind.
"Don't you play the piano?"
"I do, we have one standing in the living room, why? You want me to play?"
"Yeah, and I can sing!" He said and took my hand and led me into the living room. I sat down at the piano with Bryan sitting right beside me, sharing the piano stool.
"So what to play? Any suggestions, my musical friend?" I asked and played a short tune with fast fingers. "You know I only play by ear, so no high expects."
"You play by ear? Really? That's so cool.''
"I know, but I mean, what can you other wise expect form a cool girl like me?"
"What about Mandy? Have you heard that song?''
"I think so... I can give it a try. How does it begin?"
"Oh, uh... The first line is I remember all my life, raining down as cold as ice.."
His voice was deep and hoarse in a way that I hadn't heard before. He must be successful in the work he does. That voice is not one if an amateur.
"You're an amazing singer! What kind of jobs do you do, honestly?"
