"Kachan" Bakugo's head turned when he heard the oh so familiar voice of a certain quirkless person. The voice was filled with amazement, yet the owner of the voice was nowhere to be seen. Bakugo looked around, hearing his name again. "Kachan over here!" Bakugo finally found a tuff of wild, green hair. His feet moved towards it, and his hand reached out to push away a bush that hid the body of the boy. He was quickly filled with confusion, seeing the person he was looking for. A child.
"Deku..?" Bakugo spoke, the boy looking up with wide, green eyes. He realized as soon as he heard his own voice, that this wasn't the real Deku. The freckled boy stood, holding something in his hands.
"Look what I found" Midoriya held his hands out to show a small, green bird. Its wing bleeding. "I think it's hurt" Bakugo looked to the bird in Midoriya's hands, shaking his head.
"It's useless" Bakugo said with slight malice in his voice. Both the bird and Midoriya wouldn't survive in this world. The bird wouldn't fly and Midoriya didn't have a quirk.
"Don't be like that!" Midoriya said quickly, bringing the bird closer to his body "Ima take care of it" The goofy grin the boy had was irritating, but Bakugo couldn't do anything about it.

Bakugo sat up, bringing his hand to his hair. It had been so long since he had that dream. Why was it that Midoriya kept coming into his mind? And why that stupid memory of when they were kids? With a sigh, he moved off of his bed. His eyes went to the school uniform he's had for about a year now. Didn't Midoriya want to go to UA too? Taking a small step over to the uniform, Bakugo touched the sleeve. It had been a useless dream for Midoriya, and Bakugo constantly bullied him about it to keep him from trying to get into the school. He had a goal after all, to be the only student to get into UA from his middle school. He succeeded, but why did it feel like a shallow victory? Bakugo sneered as he grabbed the uniform from its hanger, moving to get ready for the day.Bakugo yawned as he walked, his hands in his pockets. He was tired, that dream always made him feel worn out. With a small snicker, he quickly shook his head. He wasn't going to think about it, he didn't need to think about it.
"...attack at local super market" Bakugo paused, glancing over to the sound of the newscaster. He was standing in front of a electronics store. Apparently there had been an attack nearby. He rolled his eyes as he moved to continue walking, but his body stopped as he noticed a poster by the store's window. The word 'Missing' was printed in bold letters across the top and below it was an image of a boy with a goofy grin.
"Izuku Midoriya.." Bakugo read the name. He didn't know why he bothered reading it, he passed by this poster everyday. He saw the image of curled hair and a freckled face so many times that he could probably draw it from memory if he had been any good at drawing. Bakugo's eyebrows furrowed as he stared at the poster, emerald eyes staring right back. He passed this poster everyday, and each time he stopped to look at it. For over two years, he had a staring contest with a piece of paper every morning. For over two years, the boy know as Izuku Midoriya has been missing.
