🚨 NOT EDITED 🚨

Nothing was worse for you than making a decision in your life.
Even if it was as minimal as picking something to eat, picking an outfit, or just deciding to buy something for yourself.
The only place that you felt like you were always making the right decision was on the field where you could never second guess yourself.

You never liked to put people in the position where they had to pick you over something else, but right now that was the only way to know for sure that you wouldn't be hurt in the future.

Walking through the hallways of The Avengers Facility you felt your heart begin to race as you came to the decision that talking to Clint couldn't wait any longer.
The walk through the halls that always felt like an eternity for you, suddenly only turned into feeling like a few seconds as you reached the main hall where everyone was at for breakfast this morning in the kitchen.
You held your hands together as they began to shake and took a deep breath trying to calm your nerves before you entered.
Taking a few steps toward the kitchen you spotted Clint talking to Natasha as it appeared that she was trying to make some type of pancake that looked like a deformed and very dented circle.
As usually Tony was walking around like he owned the place (cause he technically did) and everyone else was doing their own thing.
No one noticed you approaching, everyone too caught up in their own worlds.
But reaching where Clint was, his head raised slowly in your direction a smile instantly forming upon seeing you.

"Y/N/N, do you wanna help Nat with the pancakes cause she's a mess."
A chuckle erupted from his mouth as he finished talking, receiving a slap and hard stare from Natasha who looked like she was trying really hard to not mess up this simple task.
You weren't really listening to their normal bickering, not even cracking a smile like you normally would.
Noticing this, Clint's attention instantly focused solely on you, grabbing your hands in instant concern that you were acting like yourself.
"What's wrong?"
You removed your hands from his grasp, trying to keep your face emotionless.
"Can I talk to you? Separately?"
Your voice gave away nothing as you tried to not get anyone's attention as you separated Clint from the group of heroes.
Not to your luck, Tony noticed you because he honestly didn't have anything better to do other than snoop in other people's business.
As you walked away from the group with Clint at two Tony yelled "Ohhh, Clint's in trouble!!"
"Shut up Stark!" You yelled back not turning to give him satisfaction, even though you knew that he was smirking anyway.
Walking away to a section far enough from the kitchen that you knew no one would be able to hear into your conversation, you sat down giving Clint the signal to sit down across from you.
Looking at Clint you noticed that he had become oddly silent in front of you waiting to hear what you needed to say.
His eyes never left yours and you swallowed ready to begin the speech that you had practiced a hundred times to yourself.
