He was basically a child in a man's body. You had saved him so many times on this mission that you were pretty sure that he was just putting himself in danger for you to save him. But now as all of you were at the half destroyed Swarma place enjoying our food in peace for once when, of course, some little boy had to ruin it. "Hey, Y/N. Watcha doin??" He asked his face in your way "I'm trying to eat so of you would please LEAVE ME ALONE" you said your voice trying to hide your annoyance but failing miserably. A hint of hurt flash across Clint's face as you said that. You were always so nice to him but today was not your day because he had almost been killed multiple times and it seemed he put himself in danger on purpose. You actually had had a crush on Clint for a long time. He quickly covered it up with a smile " Are you mad because I ate all your chips again?" He said. Why would I be mad about that he always does that and normally I just steal the rest of his food in return. You turn to him angrily " No I'm mad because you intentionally put your self in danger today and barely got built alive and you seem not to care at all of you die!! But if you die I wouldn't be able to live with myself telling me it was my fault." By the end of saying that their were tears flowing down your face. You wiped than away quickly and turned away from him and back to your half eaten food. It was silent for a moment before you felt Clint's rough hand take yours as you continued to look at your food. "Sweetheart, I will never just leave you. I care about you so much. But part of this job is the danger." " I know that. I'm sorry. I just can't lose you. Your my best friend and I love you." You finally looked at him as his eyes widened in surprise. "You love me?" He asked. You blushed as you looked down again at you intertwined hands." Yeah, I've kinda had a crush on you for forever." You were suddenly were pulled into a hug by Clint with his head on yours. " I love you too"
