PART 1!
For anyone who has read this imagine before, I added a different ending cause the other one was way to cringe to read ____
Honestly, nothing in your life had ever gone to plan. Anything that you had ever wanted, seemed to always be beyond your reach. So when your parents decided that we were moving halfway across America to somewhere named Forest Hills, because it "seemed fun", it really wasn't really a surprise to you. To be honest, you really weren't like your mom and dad, who decided that whatever chance came their way, they would take it. Even if it meant leaving everything that had ever known. But, you didn't like to take chances or be rambunctious in any circumstance. The feeling of not knowing what was coming ahead was scary for you, because you had spent your whole life "not knowing". You weren't blaming your parents for being this way, and it wasn't like you had anything you were going to miss in the current place you were living. By now, you had moved so much that you stopped trying to get to know or get attached to anyone and anything. That meant you didn't actually have any friends or anyone to talk to. Although you were very close to your parents, they didn't really understand the mind of an introvert 16 year old and they always tried their best to make you happy, which in their mind meant moving to Forest Hills in Queens.
Arriving in New York, all you were excited about was starting your life again, before it was ultimately taken away from you. You had made it your mission that you had to at least make one friend at your new high school, because you were tired of being alone a the time just stuck with the thoughts that made you feel miserable everyday. But being the person that you were, that probably wasn't going to happen. And arriving at Midtown High you knew your suspicion was correct. You had a tour of the school, which ended up with you just being way more confused and lost of where you were going. But somehow you ended up getting to your classrooms all on time. And since your 3rd period was right next door to your science class, you were there super early. Your teacher told you to sit at an empty lab table in the back of the room after you had finished having a polite conversation with her. You watched a lot of the students come in but your eyes were instantly trained on a brunette boy who walked in right before the class started. He seemed to be not aware to the world around him, as he made his way to his seat that ended up to be right in front of you. You quickly pulled your eyes away before he could notice that you were staring at him as. As class started the teacher immediately trained her focus on you and you knew what was coming next. "Today, we have a new student with us. Y/n would you introduce yourself?"
So she was one of those teachers. You slowly stood up off your seat as dozens of eyes focused on you. But, the only eyes you actually noticed were the brown orbs of the boy who was sitting in front of you, who had quickly turned his head to look at you. You made eye contact with him, and it seemed like the world had stopped, as you suddenly felt a pull towards the boy. But you brushed that feeling away, quickly telling a little information about yourself to the class and sitting back down, not daring looking back up.
After class, you quickly made your way out of the room and to your lunch period that for some reason was at 10 in the morning. Like who the heck eats lunch so early. You made your way to the cafeteria, lunch in hand and as you reached the doors, you stopped dead in your tracks. You really didn't talk to anyone during the day except just to introduce yourself, so you thought it would be weird if you just sat down at their lunch table. Looking around you noticed a pretty much empty table with 3 people there so you thought it would be the best place to sit. Making your way to the table you noticed that the boy that had been in your chemistry class was sitting there with a Filipino boy. They didn't notice your arrival, so you decided to sit at the other end of the table where a girl sat reading a book. You awkwardly made you way toward her, knowing fully well that she knew you were there. Her gaze never left her book so you cleared you throat so that she would at least look at you. Her gaze didn't waver as she continued to read her book but she spoke, " If you want to sit, no one's stopping you." You slowly sat down next to her and began to unpack your lunch as no words were said. Finally you were done with the silence and asked, "What are those boys staring at?" Already aware of what you were talking about she responded with one word "Liz"
