Emma's pov:
I was wokwn up by someone lightly shaking me. I opened my eyes quickly and looked up. One of the flight attendents were looking at me.
FA(Flight Attendent):Soory to wake you,Miss but We have landed.
Em:Oh-Um-Thank you...
I quickly grabbed my stuff and smiled at her. I dragged my suitcase out of the plane. As soon as I stepped out, I was hit with a cold breeze. I walked down the steps of the plane. I walked straight out of the airport and texted the girls that I was here. I sat on the kurb while I waiting for them.
I was just sitting on my phone when I felt someone tap my back. I turned around and was very surprised. Grayson was bending down beside me.
Em:Wh-Gray!
I stood up quickly and hugged him. As I was hugging him, I glanced over his shoulder. I saw Ethan. I gulped and pulled away from the hug. Ethan stayed far away.
G:Emma,How are you?
Em:Uh-G-Good yeah you?
G:Oh I'm fine thanks..
There was a short akward silence until Ethan stepped forward.
E:H-Hey...
I looked up from the ground and smiled slightly.
Em:Hey..
E:Uh-Do you need a ride home?...
Em:Um-
I checked my phone quickly and saw a message from Olivia. Please don't cancel on me now...
O:Hey Em,Sorry we can't pick you up. Last minute interview. Xx
Seriously.
G:Emma?
Em:Oh yeah uh actually I do...
E:We can bring you uh home..i-if you want..
Em:Could you?..
E:Y-Yeah of course..
Em:Thanks..
Grayson held out his hand to help me up. I hesitated then grabbed his hand and he pulled me up.
Em:Thanks.
I let go of his hand and I brushed the little stones off my leggings. I smiled slightly.
G:The car's over here
He started walking over to their car. I grabbed my bags and followed him.
I put my suitcase into the back of the jeep and got into the back. It was weird sitting back here,I was usually up front with Ethan.
Ethan put some music on. I suddenly remembered,What the fuck am I doing?Where are they bringing me?
I tried to think of where I could stay and Amanda and Olivia don't have room. The only option is the twins house. Shit...
E:Uh,Where exactly are you going?
Em:Um well I don't know..
E:You don't know?
Em:Nope.
E:Have you booked somewhere?
Em:No
E:Amanda or Olivia?
Em:No space
E:So where?
Em:I don't know
E:Em you--Emma,Sorry-You can't just stay on the streets.
I don't know why but it made me upset that he didn't call me Em,I know he did but it was a mistake,he said Emma after. He always called me Em.
Em:It's okay,I'll find somewhere...
E:Emma it's La,You are not gonna get somewhere.
Em:I might
E:You won't.
It was silent for a few seconds.
E:You can stay in ours if you want.
Em:No no it's--Could I?...
E:Yeah of course..
Em:Okay...thank you.
E:No problem..
He glanced back and flashed a smile. I smiled back and he turned back to face the road.
The car journey was mostly silent,Gray asked me about my mom and Ethan didn't say much.
We got to their house and I got out of the car. I shut the door and went to the boot where Grayson was pulling out his suitcase. Ethan pulled out mine and put it down beside me.
Em:Thanks
I smiled quickly and pulled the handle up. Grayson went to the door and unlocked it. He stepped in and I followed him,Ethan behind me. I followed him into the living room and I pushed down the handle of my suitcase.
It was weird,I always felt so comfortable here but right now,It's awkward and weird. I remember the first time I stayed here,I woke up in Ethan's hoodie, in Ethan's bed.
E:Um,You can put your stuff into the guest room if you want
Em:Okay
