Emma's pov:
I turned around to leave but yet again,Grayson grabbed me by the shoulders.
G:C'monn....
He turned me around and started pushing me gently to the counter.
G:Just 1 lane please.
The man at the counter nodded. He told us that our lane was lane 8. We thanked him and walked to over to lane 8. There was a shelf full of normal shoes and a shelf full of bowling shoes. I quickly swapped my shoes out for some bowling ones and sat down on the small couch at our lane.
G:Emma,Forget about him.
Grayson spoke,noticing me glancing up every 2 seconds to look at Ethan.
I groaned and got up. I typed in our names on the machine and grabbed a ball. I flung it as hard as I could,Imagining the pins were Ethan.
The ball went so quickly and was so powerful that it knocked them all down,earning a loud cheer from Grayson.
G:Strike already!
I laughed and high fived him. Maybe coming here was a good idea after all..
I sat down on the couch while Grayson took his turn. He ended up getting a spare.
I was laughing at Grayson celebrating and I glanced back,My smile fading as I saw Ethan looking directly at me. I turned away from him and took my turn. Knocking down a few pins. I threw my other ball and knocked down a few more,not knocking them all down unfortunately.
We contimued this for a little while until I looked back at Ethan. He was still with Bryant,no one else. Thought he was on a date?
Em:Back in a minute
Grayson nodded and took him turn. I walked over to Ethan.
Em:Hi,Thought you were on a date?Where's Maddie?
E:The bathroom.
Em:She's been in the 'bathroom' for more than 30 minutes.
E:So you're stalking me now?
Em:No,I just find it funny that you think that you can lie to me. I've known you a long time. You can't get away with lying to me.
He was silent for a second.
Em:So,Where is she?
E:...She's...
Em:She's?....
E:Not real.
Em:Fuck you Dolan.
E:Emma I can explain..
I didn't even bother to reply. I walked back to Grayson and casually told him.
Em:Maddie's not real.
G:What?
Em:You know,Ethan's new girlfriend,Yeah,she's not real.
I took a ball and flung it and the pins,getting another strike. I didn't bother celebrating,imstead I sjust sat back down and took a sip of coffee.
Grayson stared at me thwn adverted his gaze to somthing beside me. I looked to where he was looking and saw Ethan,walking towarda us.
I stood up and rolled my eyes,turning to face him.
Em:Fuck. Off.
E:Emma just let me explain.
Em:Okay,two minutes,go.
I crossed my arms and stared at him,waiting for him to speak.
E:I know you are seeing someone. You seem so distracted all the time! I didn't want you to think I wasn't over you, because I'm not! And obviously, you are! I pretended to have a girlfriend so you wouldn't think I was an idiot!
He sighed and put his hand through his hair.
Em:I'm not with anyone,I'm pregnant.
A/N:Heyy,so I was really in the mood to write so I just did and it actually turned out to be one of my favourite chapters I've ever written! I hope you like the sassy side of Emma I tried today, I actually really enjoyed writing it 😂
