He was laying in his bunk beside me, I was still on the inside, pushed up against the cold window. I winced slightly as the coldness rushed down my spine.

"Hey." I mumbled, rubbing my eyes before squinting them open.

"Morning." Awsten smiled, his attention was dragged away from his phone to me.

I covered my face in my hands, knowing that my hair was messy and I had bags under my eyes. I took a deep breathe before pushing my hands down my face, turning my head to look at Awsten.

"Could I get out?" I asked him, pointing towards the edge.

He sat up, pushing his legs up to his chest so I would be able to squeeze out at the end of the bunk. I grabbed my hair in my hands, tying it back into plait. I looked back at Awsten who's attention was on his phone, again.

"Is that's always the first thing you do when you wake up?" I giggled.

"Yep." He slurred, laughing at the end as well.

"Do you want- breakfast?" I stutter.

"Okay." He smiled.

I walked off and opened the fridge and pulled out a pancake mix that I just had to pour water in, mix and cook. I added the water, before closing the lid and shaking it. I looked around to see that no one was awake except me, and probably Awsten, but he could have fell back asleep.

There was a gentle knock at the door, I placed the mix on the counter. I quickly glanced over to the clock to see the time, I raised my eyebrow slightly when I'd seen how early it was. I walked to the door and opened it.
I forced a smile when I seen Carly standing in-front of me. She was smiling, holding a notebook in her hand.

"Hey, oh—did I wake you?" She frowned, I shook my head.

"Wide-awake, actually." I sighed, before smiling again.

"Do you want to come in?" I asked her as I opened the door wider.

"No, it's okay. I just came to tell, everyone, but it seems you're the only one awake," She looked behind me, biting her lip before continuing.

"After the show tonight, we booked you all a hotel to stay in tonight. The bus has to get checked or something like that." She shrugged, handing me a small piece of paper which was folded between pages.

"Oh, okay, I can tell everyone." I looked at the piece of paper which had the hotel name and address on it.

"That's great, okay, well I need to get going." She smiled, closing her notebook.

Before she left she asked. "Is awsten any better?"

"Yeah, he's okay." I half smiled.
She didn't respond, she smiled one more time.

God, I've already smiled so much and it's not even 8 am yet.

I closed the door behind me, walking back up the one step from the door, returning to the pancake mix and the pan that was well heated by now.
I smeared some butter on the pan before pouring the first pancake.

I hadn't really thought about Geoff, Otto, Travis or Ronnie, or if they wanted breakfast, which they probably did but it was a bit late now.
I carried the two plates that were stacked with pancakes and whipped cream, seeing as it was really the only pancake topping we had.
