Geoff. I repeated his name in my head, I liked his name, it was simple yet sweet.

I gave him a smile before looking out through the window, admiring the sky and park that surrounds the shop.

"Do you want another coffee?" He said unexpectedly, I jerked my head to face him when he spoke, I gave him a smile.

"Sure." He nodded before walking off towards the counter.

I turned my head back towards the window, counting the starts in the sky or see if there's an objects I can make out, while I waited for him to come back with the coffee.

After a few minutes I could hear him making his way over, so I turned my head to face the seat where he was sitting, waiting for him to sit down.
He placed the coffee on the table before sitting down and getting comfortable.
He slightly pushed the cup towards me, indicating that it's there.

"Thank you," he simply nodded before taking a sip of his coffee.

"So, what happened?" I question, scared for the response but curious to know what happened.

When I spoke a frown grew upon his face, his eyes grew big with tears.
He stayed like that for a few seconds before gathering himself up and drinking more coffee.
Setting it back on the table he sighed softly, hooking his hands around the arms of the chair as he was about to speak.

"My best friend's girlfriend cheated on him," his voice slowly trailing off at the end, he shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"Oh my god," I said as my mouth hung open slightly, a bit shocked by what Geoff said, I didn't expect that.

"I had to collect some stuff from her apartment, I walked in and she was with some dude." He explained with a blank expression on his face.

Anxiously he drank the rest of his drink, chugging it down harshly.
My mouth opened wider, not expecting any of what he said. I thought maybe
something happened to him, but I guess something did happen.

"Shit, that's horrible," I announce, shaking my head in disbelief.

He was just about to open his mouth to speak when his phone started to buzz,
a name came up on the screen.
Otto. I read out to myself, he quickly pressed decline before sighing.
He began cracking his knuckles in frustration, a panicked look on face.

I couldn't help but notice his hand shaking slightly, I gently placed my hand on his, rubbing the back of
his hand with my thumb, trying to calm him.

He looked up at me with his big, blue eyes and I felt as though the world stopped, he gave me a small smile, reassuring some of my nerves.
I blushed slightly, knowing he didn't mind, trying to hide a smile he said.

"He doesn't know, and that's what I'm scared about. I don't know how to tell him." As he finished his phone went off again, but this time it was a text.

Otto: Where are you?!

He gave me a 'I'm sorry' look before picking up his phone and typing something, when he set his phone down on the table, he grunted softly.

"What did you say?" His friend seemed worry if he was calling and texting nearly every minute.

"I just said I'm fine, I didn't wanna tell him much." Just then his phone went off again, this time it wasn't Otto, it was someone called Cayla, I'm guessing that's his girlfriend or something.

Picking up his phone he rolled his eyes, as his hands started to shake again,
he pressed the answer button before placing the phone up to his ears.
I could hear loud mumbles coming from the phone the minute he answered.
