"I don't know." Awsten mumbled, raising his hand to his chin, his fingers began to stroke it in thought.

"Oh come on, it's perfect." I wrapped my arm around his biceps. Which I will never get over, especially how-

"Pwetty please?" I fluttered my eyelashes, looking up into his eyes.

"Jellybean, I don't even know if it will fit." He hummed, still unsure.

I took this opportunity.

"That's what she said." I laughed. Awsten didn't seem amused.

"Sorry, aws." I bit my lip, trying not to laugh, not that the joke was that funny. For some reason he was taking christmas tree shopping awfully serious.

"How about, we both shut up, and give this man our money." I smiled, through gritted teeth. Awsten didn't realise but we were at the checkout.

"Hey, happy holidays." I told the man, at the counter, who was smiling cheerfully, which was probably an act.

"And you, have you seen something you're interested in?" I felt like I was at a meeting.

"Yes, that one," I pointed towards the tree we were just at. I smiled. "Over there."

"Yeah, that tree is really nice, you have good taste in trees." He laughed, winking at me. I simply smiled.

I brought my eyes over to Awsten, who was stood there awkwardly, playing the the hem of his sleeve. I took his hand in mine, intertwining our fingers.

"Yeah, My husband and I, get better and better every year." I laughed, the expression on his face dropped before leaving us to go to another worker.

we were not married.

"These two want that tree over there," He explained to the other guy working here. "Do yous want us to deliver it, it will cost extra?"

I hadn't even thought about how we would be getting it home until he had said something about it. I looked at Awsten, who had a light smile on his face.

"Yeah, that would be great, thanks." I smiled at them both.

"Thank you, for back there." He smiled, blushing slightly.

"For driving?" I laughed.

"No, that guy was flirting with you, and you said that we were married so that he would stop flirting with you." His eyes glistened like they always did in the light. we were walking from the car with the tree. Which was heavy.

"Aws." I stopped, looking at him in awe.

"You don't have to worry about that anymore, I'm all yours." I wanted to kiss him and hug him but there was a tree separating us, and like I said, it was heavy as shit.

"I love you." He smiled.

"I love you too, aws." I groaned, lifting the tree into the elevator, which I'm so fucking thankful for in this moment in time.
