Aubrey Valentina
I quickly put on the clothes Maddox gave me. I wonder why he had female clothes lingering around his apartment, but it could just be his sister's so I shrugged it off. I figured that this hoodie was his, seeing how it smelt an awful lot like his cologne— not that I minded it or anything.
I put on the same tennis shoes I was wearing earlier and walked out the bathroom door. I followed the sound of voices coming from the kitchen.
"Maddox? Have you seen my black leggings. I left them here and it isn't here anymore," snapped the girl from that one day we were in the park, Kelsey I believe.
"Kelsey calm down you can always buy another pair," laughed Caleb, what was he doing here?
Maddox groaned in annoyance. "Kelsey, can you go now, maybe they're at the house."
I turned the corner to see them all in a bedroom. Kelsey rummaging through a dresser, Maddox rubbing his temple as he stood beside her and Caleb slyly checking out Kelsey's behind.
"Guys I have to go now," I told mainly Maddox.
Everyone turned to look at me by the door. Caleb laughed, Kelsey looked confused then angry, really angry. Maddox's face was stoic, filled with no emotion. He saw me naked...
"Who are you? And why are you wearing my leggings!"
"Um I'm Valentina. I'm Maddox's friend. I can change out of your pants real quick but I have to be at my final in like fifteen minutes," I answered calmly.
Kelsey looked like the classic rebel from those movies, she had long brown/black hair, dark makeup and a nose and lip ring. She wore an oversized leather jacket, a tight crop top that showed off her tattoos and well no pants on, just her underwear. I guess she really needed the leggings.
Just as she was about to tell me to take them off, Maddox gave her a scary death glare. She seemed about my age, maybe a bit older.
She sighed. "Yea, no it's alright I'll find something else."
Maddox walked past her and looked toward Caleb.
"Caleb make sure you lock my fūcking door when you decide to leave. I don't need another robbery. I'll be back at the house later."
Caleb rolled his eyes. "Okay okay I get it. Now you two love birds go before she misses her exam."
"Don't say that again Caleb," he growled before leading me out the apartment and too his car.
We sat side by side and he started to drive.
"You're sister seems real nice," I say to try to lighten the mood.
"She's annoying, I won't lie, but I love her," he says honestly.
"She's pretty. How old is she?"
He looks at me real quick, and almost says something but then changes tone. "She's 18, and I'm almost 20."
Good to know. "When is your birthday?"
"February 14. And yours?"
I smile. "Aww that's Valentine's Day. Mine is July 21st."
He goes back to silent Maddox. I used to be really quiet, but now I'm a chatterbox, I really need to work on it. "So... what do you do in your free time?"
But he doesn't answer.
"Maddox?"
He still doesn't answer.
