I ran back to Sally's room hoping she'd be their, but she wasn't. I have to get away, I know I said I would stay but I can't, not with him. He destroyed my life, and then he got to retire at some cushy mansion. Tears stream down my face. It's not fair, I had a family, I would have been perfectly fine if they hadn't killed them all. I curled into a small ball and sobbed into the bed. Just as I was about to go to bed the door opened, I pretended that I was sleep not really ready to talk to any one. A cold hand was put my side and I flinched away, who ever it was laughed a little. I was that damn clown again so I moved away more, and turned my back to him."Come on you can't ignore me forever." He said in a sing songy voice, I stayed quiet. I can definitely ignore him. "Come on I know your awake, and I have to show you to your room." I still wouldn't move, I think I'm petrified. "And I wanted to say I'm sorry. I really had no reason to hate you, other than you being dangerous, but so am I haha. It was my fault Rose died anyway," he sat down beside me. Yeah duh, I already knew that. "I should have been watching her closer, I should have seen that train coming. It was all my fault." His voice got quieter and slower, like he'd been thinking about it for a while. He's a LIAR! I saw what happened he killed her in cold blood. He's a liar and will always be a liar. The weight on my bed lifted, and I heard the door open. "I know you can't forgive me know but just think about it."
"Thorn THORN look at me, look how high I'm getting." The winged girl smiled at me, waving like a maniac. I couldn't help but smile and laugh to myself.
"Yeah yeah I see you just make sure you don't get hurt." I know I shouldn't worry about her that much, but I can't help it. You would too if it was your child. Rose my pride and joy, I would kill myself if anything happened to her.
"I'm gonna come down now make sure you catch me." I just smiled and held out my arms, she was only a few feet off the ground so I should be fine to catch her. Before I could say 'ready' she was already in my arms. She's smaller then she looks just like me. I combed her short white hair with my fingers, just like mine. Her blue eyes looking up at me, her face in a small smile. "I'm gonna go up again, do you think you could call uncle Laughing Jack our to see? Pretty please?" She looked up at me with those big eyes and I couldn't deny her. I roll my eyes.
"Fine I will, but you have to wait on the ground while I get him. Okay?" She shook her head and I went to get LJ. I don't know why she likes him so much.
I push open the doors the the carnival, and make my way to the kitchen because I know that's where he would be. When I walk in I don't see him though, that's strange. His room is the next place I visit.
Knock knock! I hope he'd answer. The door swings open, almost coming off it's hinges. I look up and see his face, he didn't look so good maybe if he saw Rose flying he'd feel better.
"Um Rose want to show you something in the front yard, you go ahead and I'll get some lemonade." I smiled, but he didn't say anything. He pushed passed me and made his way out, maybe this wasn't a good idea. I get the lemonade from the kitchen, and make my way out as well. I opened the front door.
I gasp, there was Laughing Jack standing over a bloody Rose.
I can't remember the rest.
