Rileys POV
I was at lunch with Cole sitting awkwardly cuz neither of us was talking to Jenna, when she stood up. "Can I talk to you." I looked at Cole. I was nervous as hell. I then got up and followed her outside. She spoke. "Listen I'm sorry I shouldn't have yelled at you Riles. I just freaked out because I don't wanna be replaced and cuz, cuz I." I looked down. "Because you like Cole." I said. "I mean I don't know, maybe. But like I have Kane so either way it's fine." She said. "No its not Jenna. You like him so I just need to step back. I'm not gonna let a boy come between us." I said. "But Riles." She protested. "No Jenna." I said assertively. I then walked away and went to class. Classes were boring til I got to the class I had with Cole. Jay was moved all the way across the room because of Cole and Jays fight. Surprisingly no one got suspended though just 2 detentions. I can't believe I kissed Cole still. It was weird. It wasn't like we were together but we were close. I had to end whatever was going on unfortunately. Whatever, like I said right guy wrong time. The bell rang and I rushed out of class. I'll break up with him later just not now. Please not now. I kept hearing him call behind me. I just ran away to Kaylas house. I'm never really ever at my own house since my dads death. I went into kaylas room by the Bay window she had. She always kept it unlocked in case one of us really needed to talk to her. I unlocked my phone which was blowing up. The messages were all from Cole. He was worried sick. I decided to text him "I'm fine I'll talk
to you later." He texted back. "OK Riles." God I felt bad. I didn't notice but tears just strolled down my face. Kayla then walked in with a bag of cheeto puffs in her hands. With her mouth full she exclaimed "Riley?!? What's wrong. What happened???" I sighed. She sat next to me and closed and locked the window. "Now spill." "Cole..." "he broke up with you?" "No but I have to break up with him." "Why?" Before I could answer we heard a knock on the window. It was Carlos. Kayla opened it. "Ladies" he greeted. "Carlos." We greeted in unison. "What are we talking about" he asked I sighed.
