Kane

Kane's POV
I walked into the lunchroom extremely nervous. I don't know why I was so nervous, but I was. Nobody from my group of friends that I normally sit with at lunch was at school so I had to ask if I could sit with Jenna and her friends. I wasn't nervous because of sitting with Jenna, only because I didn't know any of her friends. I walked up to her and said "Hey! Can we talk for a minute?". She said yes and we walked a few tables away from her friends. "So um..."; I couldn't stop stuttering. "Is it cool if I sit with you and your friends for today?". She raised an eyebrow before saying "you want to sit with us? What about the cool kids table?!". I laughed a little. She can be very sarcastic but I like it. "Hilarious. But nah I can't just sit with my girl?". I winked at her. "First of all I'm not your girl and second I'll have to ask them but I'm pretty sure they will say yes" she said. I smirked at her before saying "ok". She walked back to the table and asked. I kept looking at Riley's face because I knew it would come down to her opinion and I didn't know what'd she'd say. From what everyone says she's a goofy sweet ray of sunshine but I don't know.Riley looked at me for a few seconds, then back at Jenna. She said something but I couldn't figure out what it was. My heart was racing. Jenna walked back over to me and just looked at me for a few seconds. "They said no didn't they" I said. She stared a few seconds longer before saying " well" there was a long pause " nah I'm just kidding! Yea you can sit with us". I glared at her for messing with me but she just smiled with her little dimples and I started to laugh. "Whatever. Let's go you little rabbit". We sat at the table and I sat next to her on the opposite side of Riley. Then Jenna went around the table introducing me to each of them. I could tell there was something going on between her and Cole because Riley had the biggest smirk on her face once Jenna introduced me to him and said "her husband by the way. But he's the side piece I'm the main. Don't get it twisted." She giggled. Kol who was next to her rolled his eyes and playfully and softly slapped her forehead. I felt a little bit jealous of Cole and I can't quite explain why. Probably just because he was closer to Jenna than I was. Once I was introduced to everyone, they began to talk about how they were going out that Saturday and they even ended up inviting me to go with them. I kept touching Jenna to tease her a little bit but then I stopped because Cole seemed not to like it and Riley looked like she wanted to hurt or kill me. She'd look at Coles face and study it then look back at mine like she's gonna hurt me. She seems kinda scary.I could hear Jenna and Riley whispering about some guy named Jay and Jenna teasing her about him but I didn't think anything of it.
