°10 years later...°

Ellody was running around Tord and Edd's bedroom, cheering. She was ten years old and just a wild card.

Edd watched her carefully. "Ellody, darling, please be careful. Your father and I have warned you many times that you can't run around in the bedroom."

Ellody looked at her mother, her eyes sad and round. "Why not?" she whined. "Daddy said that we're playing Run Away!"

Edd sighed and chuckled, rolling his eyes and shaking his head. "Very well, dear. Just be careful." He knew that 'Run Away' was Ellody's favorite game to play with her father ever since she was four. Tord would usually be the 'monster' that would chase Ellody around the room and Edd had to be her knight that would protect her from the 'beast.'

Tord slowly crept up from behind Edd, extending his arms.

Ellody squealed and pointed. "Knight, look out!" she cried.

Edd turned his head and gasped, his eyes wide. Tord tackled him down on the bed, rolling and tangling with him in the sheets. Edd burst out laughing, wrapping his arms around Tord's neck. "Ahh! My princess, I have been caught!" he called out to Ellody.

Ellody fell to her knees, reaching out for her mother. "My knight! I will avenge you!"

Tord secretly lay rough kisses on Edd's neck, making him snicker. "Agh! No, my princess. You must run! It is too late for me!"

Ellody squealed and turned, running to her bedroom.

"Run to your castle, princess!" Edd called to her.

Ellody closed the door behind her, reaching up and locking it. "Haha! Now that monster can't get me!" she exclaimed in victory.

Tord chuckled, his hands settling on Edd's curves. Edd smirked and kissed the side of his neck purring. "Alright, silly," he hummed. "Time to get off. I think you devoured me enough."

Tord shook his head. "No, I haven't," he huffed. "I haven't done that for years."

Edd squealed and pushed Tord off, giggling. "Tordy! That's not appropriate!"

Tord smirked, laughing. "I know, I know. I'm sorry, baby," he apologized.

"RAAAAA!" Ellody screamed, running up behind Tord and hitting him with a stuffed animal. "Get your hands off my knight!"

Tord squeaked and chuckled, turning and grabbing Ellody, lifting her up. Ellody squealed, wriggling in Tord's arms. "Ahh! Knight, he's got me! Heeeelp!"

Edd weakly got up, pretending he was injured. "Don't worry, princess! I'll save you!"

Ellody squealed, Tord taking her down and tickling her. "Grrrr! I'm going to eat you!"

Edd jumped and lunged onto Tord, making him yelp. He went along, stumbling sideways and going down as if Edd had put a sword through his heart. Edd jumped off right when Tord fell to his side, his eye closed.

Ellody jumped up and ran to her mother. "Yay! Mommy, we beat the monster!"

Edd chuckled and ruffled Ellody's hair. "Yes, we did. A knight will always protect his princess."

Ellody giggled, smiling wide. "Can we make cookies as a celebration?" she asked.

Edd smiled. "Yes. How does chocolate chip sound?"

"My favorite!" Ellody cheered, turning and running to the kitchen.

Edd smiled, turning around and gazing at Tord. "Tord, darling, are you alright?" he asked, approaching his lover.

Tord growled and lunged up, tackling Edd onto his back. "RAAA! I got you!"

Edd squeaked and laughed, wriggling under Tord. "Haha! No, Tordy! Ack, stop!"

Tord purred, attacking his face in playful kisses. Edd chirped, giggling. "Tordy, I gotta go bake cookies with Ellody!"

Tord huffed and slowly got up and off of Edd. He playfully pouted, crossing his arms. "Fine."

Edd smiled, reaching up and pecking Tord's cheek. "I'll make you some muffins, too. Red velvet?"

Tord grinned and nodded. "Yeah!" he said, excited. "I've gotta go check on the soldiers, anyways. And do some paperwork... Probably lots of it."

"Then get moving, Red Leader," Edd hummed, shooing him away. "Get your job done and you can have muffins afterwards."

Tord chuckled. "Alright, alright! I'm going." He walked out of the bedroom, gently closing the door behind him.

Edd smiled and went into the kitchen, seeing Ellody waiting for him by the counter with her tiny oven-mitts on. She handed Edd his favorite green ones her and Tord had bought for mother's day. "Here, mommy!"

Edd smiled and took them. "Thank you, darling," he purred, pecking Ellody's cheek. "Let's get these treats cookin', huh?"

Ellody squealed and nodded. "Yeah!"

Heyo, everyone! I'm thinking this story is going to have a lot more chapters towards it. But, basically, we did a huge time skip to ten years later, as said in the beginning.

Ellody is Tord and Edd's daughter. Ten years old.

Anyways, yup, this is the first chapter. Hope you liked it!
