Edd had been knocked out by four strange men in black cloaks. Hoods covered their faces, casting a shadow over their eyes. The cloaks on each of them had been buttoned over the uniforms each one was wearing.

The small brunette had been thrown over a man's shoulder, his arm around the back of Edd's legs to keep him in place as his body swayed slightly. Edd's wrists and ankles were tied together and he had been knocked out by a cloth drenched in chloroform. When he had screamed, he sucked in the smell of the drug and had easily been knocked out.

It had at least been an hour now since the men in cloaks had taken Edd. They were arriving to their secret hideout, where their leader was waiting for them in her office. When they entered the building, guards already seemed to be waiting for them at the leader's door. They escorted the four men inside, opening the door and carefully pushing them inside. The door was closed behind them and the four men took off their hoods.

"Wonderful work, boys," the leader, a tall female with a long scar over her face, congratulated them from her side of the desk. Her hands were folded in a tempting manner, her good eye shimmering with trouble. "Now that we have his... Ugh, lover, he'll surrender his army."

The four men were silent, but nodded in agreement with their leader. The tall, strong one who was holding Edd over his shoulder stepped forward. "Where would you like him, ma'am?" he asked.

She smiled. "Take him to the dungeon, Rock. Tie or chain him up. And make sure you put a gag in his mouth. I don't want to hear him whining and crying for help. Understood?"

Rock nodded. "Yes, Carla, ma'am," he said with a dip of his head, turning and walking out of her office with Edd, heading to the dungeon.

Carla grinned at the other three that were left in her office. Pilot, Veer, and Smoke. Her three best men in disguise. The soldiers and guards in her 'army' never used their real names. They gave themselves nicknames and offered it to her for her approval. For example, Carla's real name is Victoria. But, she nicknamed herself Carla so that no enemies could find any sort of weakness out of her. When she was Carla, she was a whole new different person.

Meanwhile, down in the dungeon, Rock was chaining Edd against the wall. The brunette seemed to be waking and Rock perked up, finishing the last lock on his right ankle. "Well, well," he sneered. "It seems our little friend is finally awake."

Edd looked up wearily. His body was slowly waking up from having had been knocked out by the strong cloth of chloroform. "What..?" he wondered, Rock's statement not as clear as he had hoped it to be. "What did you say...?"

Rock seemed to have rolled his eyes, crossing his arms with a bored look on his face. "You're an idiot," he said simply, shaking his head. "Carla will be so happy to get rid of you once Red Leader hands up his army."

That seemed to wake Edd up all the way, surprise coursing through him. "W-what?!" He now began struggling against the chains, looking around the cell room he was in. "Who are you? Where am I?"

Rock growled, grabbing the gag from his pocket. He shoved it into Edd's mouth, making the brunette let out an airy gasp and a choke. "Carla was right about you going to be annoying," Rock huffed, tying the gag around the back of Edd's head.

Edd glared at Rock, tugging his wrists down and against the metal clips that kept him standing against the wall. "Mmmrph! Mrrrmmmph!"

Rock snickered, cupping a hand over his ear. "I'm sorry? I can't understand you."

Edd was about to start sputtering again when a bang came from against a cell bar. He and Rock both looked up to see a tall man standing on the other side. "Rock, stop teasing with the prisoner. Carla wishes to see you for your prize," he barked.

Rock grinned and ran a hand through his hair. "Wonderful. Seems like Carla finally brought her mind to my little offer."

The soldier rolled his eyes, grumbling under his breath. "Disgusting bastard."

Rock chuckled and looked down at Edd, guiding his chin up with his hand. "Have fun." He turned and left the cell, closing and locking the door behind him. He walked out of the prison room and to Carla's office.

Edd's head hung low. He was stuck here. Who knows how long he would be in here for until he saw his family again. Would they even make the deal with Tord? Would they really trade him just for his army?

Tord isn't that stupid. Surely one human isn't worth an entire army.
