At least two months had passed. Edd was in the medical room, laying in a bed with Tord and Ellody right beside him. His daughter had healed well and she was still her happy self. Tord held Edd's hand, kneeling beside the bed. "Edd, darling," he started. "I still think it's going to be a girl."

Edd giggled, caressing Tord's hand with his thumb. "Well," he said. "We'll just see. And if I'm right?"

Tord shrugged. "Then you're right. And if I'm right?"

Edd smirked. "Then you're going to take the responsibility of coming up with a good name for her," he purred smugly.

Tord stuck his tongue out in response, chuckling.

Ellody watched her parents tease each other with a wide smile. After a moment, she asked, "How do you feel, mom?"

Edd turned his gaze over to his daughter and smiled at her. "Breathless," he admitted. "But, I'll be okay."

Ellody nodded. "I can't wait to see my baby brother or sister."

Tord chuckled and ruffled Ellody's hair. "We're all excited, dear."

Suddenly, Edd let a gasp escape him. He flinched and gritted his teeth, groaning. "I-I think the baby's coming," he said quickly, starting to breath deeply.

Tord nodded, ushering Ellody out of the room and finding a doctor. He sent the doctor in Edd's room immediately and took Ellody and himself to a small waiting area, sitting down and waiting.

Hours went by. Ellody had fallen asleep in Tord's lap while Tord patiently waited for a doctor or nurse to come out and give him the news.

Finally, steps approached him and a nurse named Tessa came over, holding a clipboard in her hands. "Red Leader, sir," she addressed. "Your lover has given birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy."

Tord's world leaped with happiness as he stood up, swinging his sleepy daughter in his arms. "Oh, Ellody, did you hear that?" he exclaimed.

"Huh..? Oh.. OH! Yay!" she squealed in return, hugging her father tightly.

"May we see them?" Tord asked the nurse.

Nurse Tessa nodded, gesturing to the door she came out of. "Over there, sir," she said kindly.

Tord smiled and rushed over to the door, quickly opening it. He stood in the doorway, gazing at his lover with a small figure held against his chest.

Edd looked up with a tired smile, his eyes droopy. "Hey, hon..." he purred quietly.

Tord went over, closing the door behind him when he set Ellody down. Ellody trotted over to the bedside, Tord close behind her. He knelt down next to Edd, gazing at his son. "Oh, Eddy..." he whispered.

Edd smiled more, hugging the baby boy close to him. He looked at Ellody and smiled. "Say hello to your new brother, Elly," he cooed.

Ellody looked at her brother, smiling widely. "Oh, mom, he's so cute! What's his name?"

Edd looked at Tord and grinned. "Ted," he said. "He's our little Teddy Bear."

Ellody giggled happily. "Aww! Hi, Teddy!"

Ted opened his small, brown eyes, looking at his sister. He cooed softly, reaching out with his tiny, chubby hands. Ellody giggled, gently holding his hand. "I'm Ellody, baby Ted!" she exclaimed.

Ted seemed to smile at his sister, pulling his hand away and curling close to his mother. Tord smiled, hugging his family close. "I love you guys..." he whispered to them, crawling on the bed next to Edd. Ellody squeezed through, cuddling against her father's chest with a hum, laying between him and Edd.

The family kept snuggled together, all of them falling asleep within minutes. It was over.

They won.
