The crumpled base sat in the pile of ashes and fallen trees. Thick, white smoke filled the sky amid the plaster and dead, hidden bodies. There was absolutely nothing left of Carla's base. Everything was destroyed and the only thing that lived were the plants miles away from the explosion.

When the base exploded, soldiers near the bomb caught fire immediately, the bomb itself setting off, with flames hitting the generators and causing them to burst into red, orange, and yellow flickers. These flickers caused the generators to explode soon after, taking the power out. The base shook and then the walls began to fall.

Soldiers were screaming, a lot of them trying to run for their lives and escape throughout the doors or cover themselves under cabinets or desks. Some even hid in vehicles and tanks, but those burst into flames soon after the bomb exploded and set the bodies inside into nothing but blackened ash.

In the center of the pile of nothing, however, the broken walls began to shake. Something was emerging from the rubble.

A burned, bloody, and scarred hand burst out of the crumpled pieces. With a gasp, Carla heaved her broken, burned body out of the pile. She panted heavily, looking around as blood dripped from her face. Her body was burned to the flesh, the wounds severe and deep. Around her, she saw, that nothing else was moving.

She narrowed her eyes at her broken, destroyed base.

She swore to herself that, no matter what, she'd get revenge.

She'll kill that Red Leader and his family, even if it's the last thing she'd ever do.
