After Edd finished making dinner, Ellody wanted to sit in the living room and eat. Of course, Edd allowed her. "Just don't make a mess on the couch, okay?"
Ellody nodded and took her plate that had two chicken patties and her bowl of buttered noodles. She sat down on the couch and curled up under a blanket, turning on the TV and watching her favorite show, Barbie Adventures.
Edd sat down at the table, giving Tord his plate of chicken patties and bowl of noodles. "There you are, love," he purred.
"Thanks," Tord mumbled, picking up his fork and eating the noodles.
Edd sat next to him, eating one of his chicken patties. "Is something wrong?"
Tord shrugged. "Well. The soldiers in Area 4 are acting up again and I'm about ready to kill every one of them. But, of course, I won't. I'm going to assign them new jobs. I'm not having this army falling apart under my watch."
Edd frowned and lay a hand on Tord's shoulder. "Hey, cheer up, Tord," he said gently. "You're the Red Leader, the most feared man of the world. Hell, if the world fears you, surely your men do."
"I just... I just feel like I'm weakening," Tord whispered.
Edd tilted his head. "How come?"
"None of my soldiers look at me the same," Tord sighed. "And it's because of what happened with my robot. Before you came in my life again, Edd, the soldiers around me hated me and lost their honor in me. I had to gain their respect. If they didn't listen I would kill them or beat them senseless. Now, they see me here. I have a beautiful family, even though this stuff isn't allowed in the Red Army. They're mad at me for breaking my own rules, and I can't really blame them. But, you know what? Fuck it. They can say whatever they want, they will never get to me."
Edd listened to Tord, smiling softly and pecking his cheek. "That's the man I know," he said. "I'm glad you're thinking about your actions before taking them out on the soldiers."
Tord gazed at him. "Edd, you don't understand. That's the problem— thinking! If I think, the soldiers will question me. If I don't lash out like I used to, I'll never gain their respect back."
"Tord, that's not true," Edd said gently. "You're not weak, you're not soft. You're a very strong, honorable man. You've done so much for your army and our family."
Tord scoffed quietly. "Yeah. Alright, then. If that's how you want to say it."
Edd crossed his arms. "Tord, I'm trying to help you here. You say I'm not understanding when you're not even listening!"
"Well, Edd, maybe I don't need your help!" Tord snapped, slamming the fork down on the table.
Edd flinched back, gasping softly. He stared at Tord, his eyes wide.
Tord groaned quietly. "I'm sorry," he whispered, gently holding Edd's hand. "I'm so, so sorry."
Edd's eyes watered and he turned his head away. He slipped his hand away and pushed his plate back, losing his appetite. "It's... It's alright," he whispered.
Tord frowned, his silver eye fogging with guilt. "Edd, please. I didn't mean to snap at you. I'm just really stressed at the moment."
"I understand," Edd said gently, glancing at Tord. "And it's okay."
Tord sighed softly, wrapping his arms around Edd and pulling him close. "I'm so sorry, baby."
Edd wrapped his arms around Tord's neck, hugging himself close to his lover. He buried his face in the side of Tord's neck. "I forgive you..."
An hour has passed. Edd went to go check on Ellody, seeing she had fallen asleep on the couch. He smiled and gently took her plate and bowl, heading back to the kitchen and washing them in the sink.
Tord approached him, hooking an arm around Edd's waist and kissing his cheek. "I love you, momma bear."
Edd chuckled. "I love you, too, pappa bear."
Tord smirked, carefully pulling away and heading out of the kitchen. He picked Ellody up, keeping her in the blanket. He carried her to her room and gently set her down on her bed, tucking her in. He smiled and pecked her forehead.
Edd walked into their bedroom, sitting down on the king sized bed. Tord followed and gently closed the door behind him. He smiled at Edd and went over to him.
Edd looked up, seeing Tord standing in front of him. He scooted out of the way, Tord chuckling.
Tord gently placed his hands on Edd's shoulders, carefully pushing him down. He layed on top of the brunette, careful not to squish him. "You're so comfy."
Edd giggled. "Yeah? Well, you can thank me for being chubby."
Tord snickered and nuzzled the side of Edd's neck. "Yeah, I like it," he whispered. "Super cute."
Edd smiled and rubbed Tord's back in small circles. "Heh, nice try, Tord. You won't get me with that kind of flattery."
"What?" Tord asked with a whine. "Oh, what do I have to do?"
Edd shrugged. "I dunno."
"Well, I do," Tord purred, pecking Edd's cheek. "Have I ever told you how beautiful your eyes are?"
Edd shook his head. "Uh, not that I can remember."
"Well, Eddy, their gorgeous. They're like pools of honey when they shine. They're so deep and attractive and I never want to see them lose their happy color."
Edd giggled. "Oh, Tord. I'm very flattered. Thank you..."
Tord smirked. "And have I ever told you how much I love you?"
"Yes, you've told me a million times," Edd giggled.
"Well, not in the proper form," Tord replied. "Edd, I love you so much. You mean absolutely everything to me. I love raising Ellody with you. You're so precious to me, you and Ellody. I never want to see you sad or hurt. It pains me to see you like that. You're always so happy and cheerful and I love it. Your smile, your laugh, everything."
Edd hummed and hooked his arms around Tord's neck, lifting himself up and landing his lips on Tords. He kissed the Norwegian deeply, closing his eyes.
Tord squeaked softly, his eye widening. He smiled, laying his hands on Edd's feminine-like hips and curves. He pulled away slowly, pecking Edd's neck and making him giggle.
Tord purred and slowly slipped Edd out of his shirt. He yelped in surprise, gazing up at Tord. "Tordy?"
"Don't worry, baby. It'll be okay," he said gently. "It's been a while, huh?"
Edd blushed heavily, giggling. "Y-yeah, it has.." He mumbled.
Tord smiled and cupped Edd's cheek. He pecked Edd's lips, slowly slipping off his lover's pants and boxers.
Edd shuddered at the exposure, whimpering quietly. "Tordy... What about Ellody and the other soldiers?"
"Funny," Tord purred. "But you didn't complain when we had fun last time.~"
"That's because we were home alone! And we didn't have children!" Edd retorted.
Tord blushed and smiled. "Yeah? The walls are thick, so I think we should be fine."
