"I can't stand it when you do that Beau." I almost whispered
"Do what?" He smiled lightly, slowly turning in the other direction.
"You leave. Just when I think I've finally found someone that understands me and actually cares for me you always bring this bullshit back. It's not fair anymore!" I shouted, tears welling up in my eyes
"I leave because you're better off."
He walked slowly out of the room grabbing his jacket angrily from the armrest
"You can't just walk out on me!"
"Watch me." On that note he slammed the door.
I'd lost him. And he was gone. And so was I. I felt it and I know he felt it too. but something about his past ruined the attraction we had.
