Melanie's POV

The next day was uneventful until lunch when I realised Biology was next which meant I had to spend a hour sat next to Billy who I didn't want to speak to at all after yesterday's events .

I was about to round the corner to my Biology room only to be stopped by Mike who had Lucas , Dustin  and Will behind him .

"I know what you guys are going to say yes I was in that car"

"You was with Mad Max"
Dustin stated .

I looked at him confused before realising what he was saying and replied

"Oh you mean Max?"

"Yeah why was you and her in that car that tried to run us over"

"That was Billy her brother been a dick and I was in there because he 'insisted' that he gave me a ride home"

"thank you for turning the car away from us"
Will added .

"Of course I did that . Would you expect me to do anything other wise?"

"Well no"

Once entering my Biology class I saw that Billy was already sat down with a slightly bruised cheek .

I almost smirked at this but didn't because I didn't want to make him any more mad at me than he probably already is .

I sat down next to Billy and didn't look at him but I felt his gaze on me .

"You made a mess of my face"

"Good . You almost ran over my friends"

"They were kids why are you friends with kids?"

"Stuff happened last year and we became friends"

"What stuff ?"

"I am not telling you that"

"Well remember what you said yesterday?"

"No"

"That we are doing the project tonight as we want to get it over and done with"

"I am not getting In your car ever again"

"Well there's no other way your getting to mine"

"Fine but I swear if you pull anything like you did yesterday I will ruin you"

"Good luck with that"

I gave him a warning look which he then continued

"Ok I will not be a dick"

"Good . Also why aren't you angry about the smack"

"Believe me I was"

I smirked at this as I could just imagine him throwing things about in a fit of anger .

After school I met Billy by his car as we waited for Max .

"Get in"
Billy said .

"What about Max?"

"She can skate home"

I nodded but felt bad for leaving Max behind even though it wasn't my responsibility.
