Dart

Melanie's POV

I woke up to see Dustin and Steve standing over me .

"What the hell ?"
I muttered

"Are you going to help us fight Dart?"
Dustin asked

"Who's Dart?"

"Well I found it and i thought he was a new species until he grew and ate mews . Now I've realised its a demidog"

"You Kept a demidog as a pet?"

"Yes but now it's grown"

I looked at Steve who then added in .

"Apparently some overgrown lizard is going to attack Hawkins"

I sighed but agreed to help the pair of them find The so called Dart .

We sat in Steve's car in silence until Steve broke it by saying

"Wait how big is it?"

"It use to be this big and now it's this big"

Dustin showed us the differences from how Dart had grown .

"It's ok it's just a little lizard"

"She's not a little lizard"

"How do you know?"

"How do I know it's not just a lizard ?"

"Yeah how do you know it's not just a lizard"

The car pulled up near the cellar which Dustin had trapped Dart in .

Steve grabbed a baseball bag with spikes on out of the boot .

Steve banged his bat on the cellar entrance only to hear nothing below .

"I swear kid if this is Some Halloween prank . I'm going to kill you"
Steve stated.

"Be nice Steve"
I said .

"It's not a prank"
Dustin raised his voice slightly .

"You got a key for this thing?"

Dustin unlocked the cellar door to reveal a pitch black room .

"You two can go down there whilst I stay up here Incase he tries to escape"
Dustin said quietly .

Steve and I walked down the stairs the torch not helping the lighting much until a light bulb above us turned on .

I looked around before turning back to Steve to reveal slimy looking shedded skin on the end of his bat .

"I don't think it's a Halloween prank"
I muttered .

Steve nodded in agreement .

"Steve ! Melanie!"

Steve went to the bottom of the stairs before telling Dustin to come down here .

Dustin looked at the slime before saying

"Oh shit"

Steve then pointed the torch at the wall in the corner which showed us a tunnel which had been made obviously by Dart so he could escape .

Well this wasn't good .
