Kokichi's POV
I was bored and I was going to go see Shuichi but he was hanging out with Kaito. I wish he would've picked me instead. I really love the games we play together when we do hang out. I was in thought when I saw Himiko say bye to Tenko and go to her lab. I decided to hang out with her even if she didn't want to.

I snuck up behind her and scared her.
"Boo!" I screamed at her from behind.
"AHH KOKICHI. What the hell man~?" She said prolonging her last couple words.
"Nishishi I was planning on killing you just then but~~~ I now wanna hang out with you so I didn't! How lucky are you!" I lied.
"...very lucky..." she said unimpressed. She didn't tell me to leave though so I guess she wouldn't mind.

We get to her lab and I guess she was setting up supplies and ingredients to make a new potion.
"Can I try this on you Kokichi once it's done. It should make you smarter." Himiko asked.
"I mean I'm already the smartest one here but sure!" I said excitedly.
Himiko nodded and started making her potion that supposedly makes me smarter. I watched closely to try and figure out what she was putting in but I couldn't figure it out. Suddenly...
"Oh shoot...I forgot a couple ingredients in my room. I'll be right back! Don't touch it Kokichi. I swear to Atua that something bad might happen but I'm not sure what." She said being serious.

I wait for a minute and she doesn't come back. I really shouldn't do this but...I really want to know what will happen. I sure it's not that bad..! Okay it will probably be bad but whatever. I might die in this killing game anyway so YOLO (im so sorry 😅). I take a sip and pass out only seconds later.

I wake up in my bed I feel a little strange and it isn't like a normal strange. I go to the bathroom and wash my face. I didn't look in the mirror when I first walked in so when I saw myself this time, I screamed. I had purple cat ears. I look back and see I also have a long purple tail.  I was definitely freaking out. I can't let people see me like this.Who brought me here anyway? Did they see me like this? Oh I hope not. What if Shuichi sees me? What would he think of me? Is Himiko mad at me? All these questions run in my head. I go and sit down, being cautious of my tail. I hear a knock on my door and panic. I stay quiet and the knock get louder. I have to answer them.
"...yess?" I say nervously.
"Hey...uh it's Shuichi. I just wanted to see if you were okay. You passed out earlier and Himiko came to me to ask to carry you here. Your head was throbbing it seemed. Are you okay now? Does your head hurt?" Shuichi said genuinely concerned.
I guess the potion didn't set in yet when he brought me up here. That's good. I sigh in relief.
"I'm okay Shuichi. Don't worry about me. I'm totally fine and not worried about anything at all!" I said lying but it definitely did not work.
"That seems suspicious Kokichi. I coming in" Shuichi said trying to open the door.
I run as fast as I can and shut what he already opened. I lean against the door so he can't open it.
"Seriously Kokichi whats wrong. I wouldn't be mad or anything. I wouldn't judge you either. You should know this." Shuichi said with a gentle tone of voice making me feel comforted. I sigh and say...
"Fine...please don't tell anyone or judge me. I just want to figure out how to get rid of this."
And I open the door slowly, trying to hide behind the door but it didn't work too well.

Shuichi's POV
Kokichi opens the door and I see some furry little ears and a tail that match his hair color. It was so cute! I act calm on the outside but I think he is so adorable right now. I didn't realize I was staring until Kokichi stepped in.

"W-would you please...stop staring. It's embarrassing" Kokichi said shyly trying to cover his cat ears.
Kokichi stuttered?! That's new...
"H-hey...I'm sorry. You just look...so adorable." I said blushing. Kokichi also blushed.
"Why don't we just hang out for a bit and chill. We can ask Himiko later about this. I just don't want you freaking out." I say trying to calm him down. He was too nervous to say anything after that.
Kokichi nods and I head over to his bed and sit in the middle. Kokichi crawls into the bed as well and he clearly picked up so habits a cat would have. He laid his head on my lap and my blush came back again. Kokichi closed his eyes so I decided to pet him.

I was petting him and he fell asleep awhile ago. How cute! I noticed he started purring and I blushed. Kokichi woke up, still purring, and I noticed his blush. I continued to pet him until he lifted his head and licked my nose like a cat would kiss someone. I got flustered and so did he. I went and did what I've wanted to do for awhile and a kissed him. I real one, not a cat kiss. Kokichi kissed back. It was such a loving and gentle kiss, that we both melted into. I pulled apart slowly and and looked into Kokichi's violet eyes that I loved so much. I kissed his head and laid him back down on my lap. He was purring and fell asleep again. I kissed his head and laid back. I eventually fell asleep as happy as could be.

Kaede walked in to get them for breakfast as they slept through the night and found them snuggled up together. She didn't notice Kokichi's new features and walked away smiling.
