Damn it, i can't blocked his attack, even raphtalia's sword can't cut through his armor, just what is he?, our combination skill can't either work on him as if he's already knew about our moves. If this is goes on, we couldn't protect this place, or even we might get killed, gotta find something or working something, situational analysis.......
Naofumi surveying his skill on his shield menu, looking for kind of tactics that could he use against his opponent.
" Na...nao...fumi...sa..ma..." a panted Rapthalia calling out to naofumi on his right side while she looking at naofumi in concerned.
As soon as Naofumi hearing Rapthalia's call out, he take a quick look on her " Raphtalia...hang in there..."
Rapthalia take a quick nod and give him a small smile " its okay....Naofumi-sama....i can...still fight... " She trying her best to stand tall only to find herself in a world of pain because of the cuts in her arms and legs.
" Raphtalia...that's enough..." a concerned look on Naofumi's face appear when he staring at his so-called family brunet's eyes flinching because of the pain. she only able kneeling with the help of her sword beside Naofumi.
Naofumi is scanning all around him and only to find an unconscious filo and melty a little far from his position, and a cloaked figure standing tall ahead away of him.
Damn it, what's wrong with that guy?, he's just standing like that without moving a single muscle as if it is a doll, but when it comes to attack, its damage are second to none.
if this is continue on, i guess i got no other choice but to use " that " skill. when he thinks there're no other way to fight his opponent, he change his shield from soul eater shield to rage shield.
" no...don't...naofumi-sama, if you use that shield...you'll..." Raphtalia's deep concerned after seeing naofumi's intention turn into scared when she think she will lose her loved ones, she trying her best to move every muscle to stop Naofumi from doing what he intended to do, but her struggle remains futille.
" Stupid sinner, i'll make your scream be heard to edge of heaven, with the jaws of the dragon are born from my body..." As Naofumi start reciting his spell for his ultimate move, his body suddenly glowing purple.
" Stop! Naofumi-sama, don't do it!" Raphtalia is screaming at the top of her lung to stop Naofumi from finishing his spell, but Naofumi decided to carry on his recite without having a second thought.
" be a victim for lord and scream in pain.....BLOOD SACRIFICE! " as Naofumi finishes his recite, every blood vessel inside his body exploded, make all of Naofumi's blood splashing out and flooded all around him.
Suddenly a mechanical dragon emerge beneath the cloaked figure and swallow it.
After it finished, the mechanical dragon back to where it comes from.
Naofumi stand tall without moving and staring up at the sky, with his last remains consciousess he wanted spend his last minute spacing out to silvelt's sky.
A small smile appear on his face as he starting collapse to ground, only to get caught by Raphtalia
" Naofumi-sama!! Naofumi-sama!! don't die!! don't leave me!! " Raphtalia screaming so hard while shaking his body, a lot tears drop from her eyes.
Naofumi could only watch raphtalia crying over him, she hug him so tight as if she don't want to lose her loved ones.
as Naofumi's vision and hearing starting to blur, he slowly closed his eyes.
A peacefull moment suddenly broke by a cloaked figure emerge again for the second time from the underground and slowly walk towards Raphtalia that hug Naofumi.
Naofumi : "Crap....."
Naofumi that see it emerge again, only watch a cloak figure in despair, in his thought he already made a bad move by using that skill, he couldn't warn Raphtalia because his body is already at its limits.
" So...rry..Raph...ta..lia" he is trying his best to say a word his heart would only say it, before Raphtalia could react to his word his eyes already closed.
Im sorry Raphtalia, Filo, Melty, my job as a hero is...over

Author's note : the timeline of this story is based on after the ending of rising of the shield hero anime season 1 and as for the sao is based on after the ending of ordinal scale movie, im not intended set the timeline for sao after the ending in alicization because you-know-why, if you catch up with sao alicization. After all what ellie said at the last of us game when she ended reading a comic book on a car with joel, really does make sense if you pay attention to what i meant, you probably knows what she said though
