CHAPTER 31 : RESURRECTED BEAST

A sound of steel clinging to each other echoed throughout the entire city. A massive battle between civilians and the undead  already rages on since the wave of calamity occurred once again on this world, they've been fend to fight for themselves since the saints hero and the black swordman are falsely charges in injustice, the public are no longer putting their trust on the hero's shoulder. 

" Hey, there's no end to them " One of the civilian desperately said while battling with the undead

" We can still fight anyway, don't let them up! " A seem to be bossy guy shouted ordering the others while swinging his sword wildly. 

" In this kind of situation there's no way we can take the children to safety " 

" make them fight for us "

" Are you out of your goddamn mind?!, we can't risk kids on handling a sword or some sort! " 

Some guys are arguing about whether prioritizing children to safety or make them to fend for themselves, its obvious kids are always comes first when it comes to safety while there is a battle rages on.

" Yo Agil-san, what should we do with them? " One of Agil's companion ask while readied his battle stance

" Don't mind them, those guys are just terrified, sometimes you lack of morale when your life's on the line and that's why we gotta keep our heads together in this kind of situation " As an experience fighter, Agil stated to make sure his companion didn't lose their nerves to fight and morale.

" Good, now get those children to safety while i cover you " Agil exclaimed while readying his axe 

" Got it " the swordman sheathed his blade and flee off the scene intended on guiding the civilian to safety

Damn it Naofumi, you sure is took your time, i'll make sure to bust your head when you get back. Agil flinch and his deeply thought got interrupted by the sudden disturbance around him, what he witness is a large size undead appeared before him. Oh crap, now here comes the real pain in the ass. As the monstrous undead moves its feet and started approaching Agil; a large scale minion of undead surrounds Agil as if the bigger one is their commander and its ordering them to besiege the bald-headed fighter. Outnumbered, out of escape plan didn't make his guts daunted " Alright you bunch of sissies, you guys wanna piece of me that bad?, good i'll make this battle one to remember "

The monstrous undead roar signifying to start the siege of a middle aged man with an axe. Agil smug while he started to charge towards his opponent, with only experience he gained from the incident a few years back and a single purpose in mind; survive. Agil furiously fight the inevitable.

" How could you still be alive?! " Raphtalia with a venomous stare towards Orlando ask while they had an intense sword clash.

" Aren't you wondering too my dear? " suddenly Orlando break away Raphtalia's sword holdout and turn his attention to the upcoming attack from Asuna and deflect it like it was nothing, that makes Asuna's balance unstable so that Orlando can easily bounce her off with a single swing. A relentless barrage of attacks had delivered by Yuuki, Lisbeth, and Silica but only resulting in immediate parried so easily and had the same fate as Asuna.

" HAAAAA " Kirito with all his might plunge himself in high speed intended to deliver a stinger attack towards Orlando's gut 

With a great awareness Orlando manage to turn his attention for the upcoming attack that been delivered to him and parried Kirito's sword. With his attack been repelled that easily, Kirito now feels defenseless and facing with a danger of Orlando's axe.
