CHAPTER 17 : FALSE CHARGES

" Agil, you must be joking right? " Kirito asked as he couldn't believe what he just heard from Agil's statement 

Agil close his eyes while trying to regain his composure " Unfortunately, it is what he said, that's why I ask you before that if you don't have anything to do with this " he staring into the three gentlemen inside the room " but apparently, you have..." 

Klein suddenly snaps between the conversation " Then, the others are..." as Kirito Heard him, he take a quick turn with a face that could tell he is scarred to imagine the fates about his family while they're having fun in the city, other than him, Naofumi didn't show any reaction to Klein's words, he just stood in silence thinking a best way to get away from this city without being notice such as he had done before while in Melromarc continent, he just have faith in his companions that they will be okay.

" We gotta find them quick, Agil thanks for the info " Kirito as fast as he could, bowed towards Agil and then running off of his store. Witnessing Kirito's attitude he quickly followed him dashing off of Agil's store

Watching the two of his friends dashing off immediately of the store Agil just concernedly look towards them, Naofumi's silence attracted his attention " Hey uhh...Naofumi right? aren't they also your friends? 

Naofumi's chain of thoughts interrupted by Agil and he slightly turn his attention towards him " Agil, is there any other way out of this city without using the main entrance? " 

As Kirito outside of the store, he quickly take a gazed towards the direction of where his family had run off to before, he dashing off into the crowd along with Klein " We gotta find them quick "

Klein nods in agreement " Okay ! " his eyes also staring into each place he encountered along with Kirito he furiously searched for their scattered party 

" Damn it, where are they? we need find them before the royal army has " Kirito wildly searched every spot he visited

Searching for a bunch of people in the crowded can be easier said than done, more like search for a straw in a pile of needles. As they do their hunt for they missing friends, they do it quietly without drawing any attention to the guards that scattered the throughout the whole city 

" Huh? Kirito-kun? " 

As Kirito heard the familiar voice calling out to him he take a quick gaze towards the sound, as expected his wife just confusedly stare towards the panted Kirito and Klein while she carrying a bag full of groceries and clothes

" Asuna ! thank goodness, where are the rest ? " Kirito concernedly stare behind her 

" Oh they'll be back soon " As asuna just said, the girls finally gathered up behind her carrying their belongings " See, told you so " Asuna says as she innocently smiled towards Kirito and Klein

" Seems you boys can't having fun without us, can you ? " Yuuki jokingly ask as the other laugh freely

After she laugh, Raphtalia staring confusedly into Kirito's side " um where is Naofumi-sama ? " 

Kirito realize Raphtalia's question and he wandering about it too as he look around searching for him, but after a few second he's looking for him, he knew that Naofumi is the guy not to be worry about 

" We gotta find Yui, Firo, and also Melty " with a serious look on his face, Kirito stated to the girls. As she got an uneasy feeling, Raphtalia staring into Kirito's eyes looking for a clearance 

" Something has happened, right Kirito-san " with awareness Raphtalia asked towards him

Kirito just nodding quickly while put his finger ahead of his mouth, signify to stay quite, wouldn't want to discuss things here, as the girls watching him, they become aware of their surroundings
