My other hand became sweaty, my breathing was deep and my heart was racing. We use to lie here and watch movies all the time when we were younger, but why was he acting this way. Is this really what I want? Or what he really wants?

My mind went blank, I could see his chest rising and falling as if he was nervous. I can feel his hot breathing on my lips, my mouth becoming dry, our eyes shut automatically. This was actually going to happen. Why was I letting him do this, my body was betraying me yet again.

Just before our lips touched my bedroom door swung open. My head whipped around and standing in the doorway with her eyes staring at us was my mother.

"Oh, Dylan I didn't know you were here love it's a school night. You should be back at yours, sleeping to get some good rest, haven't you got football in the morning? I'll give you five minutes to say goodbye and then I want you to go home. Your mother must be worried by now."

She sounded a little shocked as he's never stayed this late before if he wasn't staying the night. The first time she found us in the bedroom together she hit the roof, she was so angry that a boy was in my room but over the years she's got used to finding him in my room.

"Ahhh, you can stop now." I screeched as he stood over me with a smirk on his face.

"Are you going to stop calling me that name."

"Ummmm..."

"That's what I thought." He laughed at me.

Just before he knelt back down to go another round of tickling me, my mum burst through the door with a spatula.

"What's going on?" She asked scared ready to attack someone.

She noticed Dylan standing over me with a smirk on his face and then she looked at me angry, because I wasn't supposed to have a boy in my room. My top was half way up my stomach from me squirming on the floor. I had tears clinging to the sides of my eyes. Her eyes darted towards Dylan again and this time she was ready to explode.

"Wait.. mum this isn't what it looks like..." I began.

"Then what is it?" She crossed her arms whilst holding the spatula.

"He was tickling me, nothing bad was going on." I said standing up and nudging Dylan in his side.

Well, this was the worst thing for her to see, especially since he was the first guy to be in my room and this is the first time she caught him here. He stopped smirking and dropped his arms to his side and stared at the floor.

"I suggest you go home... now." She spoke not looking away from me.

That's it. I'm dead. Was what I thought. Every day after that he snuck in and we made sure not to make too much noise, until she caught us again and again. Each time she did, she started to ease off as she saw that I was finally laughing and with a friend.

I looked at the time and it was just past midnight.

"Okay, Miss Richardson." He paused and looked at me flustered.

I was happy that the main light was not on because otherwise she would have noticed that I became redder than the apples in the fruit bowl.

"I'm sorry for staying late."

With that she shut the door, after the click he turned to me.

"I'm... I'm sorry." Was all he said before he opened the window and climbed out of it and back to his as if he was a ninja.

I let out the breath I was holding in, my face felt like it was scolding hot. I wiped my hands on my bottoms and tried to slow my breathing. He was seconds away from stealing a kiss, what was I thinking letting him get that close to me. I slumped into my bed and smiled to myself biting my lip, I got my phone out and text Dylan.

"Goodnight Dylan"

Not even a minute later my phone lit up and it was from Dylan.

"Goodnight Alice x"

I had to blink a few times to make sure I was not seeing things, he had put a kiss on the end of the message. I squealed quietly like a little girl and hugged my phone, smiling to myself again. Why was I excited when he sent me a kiss?

When I woke my mum was standing over the top of me trying to wake me up.

"Wake up Alice, I'm not going to tell you again. If you're not ready in ten minutes you will have to walk to school."

My eyes flew open and I jumped out of the bed, no time for a shower, luckily I had one last night when I got in.

I grabbed a pair of black ripped jeans, a white crop top, a baggy jumper to go over the top and my white converse trainers, brushed my teeth and grabbed my other bag off the back of the chair before heading downstairs and rushing to the car.

After a couple of minutes she climbed into the car and waited for me to tie my hair up in a pony tale before passing me the apple she picked up. I smiled at her and she shook her head. We barely left the drive before she spoke.

"So... about Dylan" she said smirking over towards me.

Before she could finish that sentence I jumped in.

"Mum, gross!" I laughed at her.

"That's not what was going on last night, what was that all about?"

"He was just upset about his family."

"Mmm sure, but with the way you two jumped it seemed like you were doing something you shouldn't be doing missy" she cackled.

"There was nothing going on, he was removing an eyelash off of my cheek. That was all." I repeated trying to avoid the questions because I could feel my cheeks becoming hot.

If she knew what happened last night, she would torture me for years to come so I turned up the music to tune out her talking.

She pulled up and stopped the car.

"Alice.." she shouted out before I shut the door.

"Yeah?"

"Have a nice day." She spoke but for some reason it was like she was going to tell me something else but she chose not to tell me.

"You too mum." I said slamming the door shut and headed towards the building.

I sprinted to my locker to get the books I needed and then walked myself to the classroom, as I sat down Mr Stollen walked through the door.

"Make your way to your seats and we will begin the lesson." He spoke walking towards his desk and placing his bag on top of it.

After what seemed like fifty minutes of hell, he spoke the most delightful words. They were like sweet music to my ears.

"And with that... end of lesson. You may take your rubbish with you." He spoke looking towards Lewis that had balls of paper on his desk.

I got up out of my seat, pushed the seat in and grabbed my stuff, listening to the guys laughing with Lewis. I made sure to pick all my stuff up and clear the desk as I made a mistake like this before and left my pen behind, I had to suffer with the consequences for the rest of the day. Before Emily opened the class door Mr Stollen cleared his throat and spoke.

"Oh and Miss Richardson can you please stay behind, I would like to speak to you. Thank-you."
