When I woke I was in bed, the light seeping through the curtains and piling into the bedroom. I looked over at the digital clock that was placed on my night stand and checked the time, it was seven o'clock on the dot. I stretched out and plodded to the bathroom, I ran the shower, brushed my teeth and sang my heart out, if the neighbours were not awake, they are now.

When I woke I felt different, everything was brighter. I took my washed blue ripped jeans out the wardrobe and put them on along with my black tank top and slightly big cardigan to drape over me to keep me comfortable, I put my white converse on, grabbed my bag and headed for the kitchen.

I made my coffee in my travel mug and picked up the rosy red apple, on top was a sticky note.

"Wait outside for me - D x"

I smiled to myself as I read the note, I decided to run back up the stairs to open my window slightly and put mascara on. I ran back down the stairs and sat on the steps outside the house. A loud car horn blew out making me jump. I looked up, the window rolled down and sat in the driver's side was Dylan. I got up made sure that the door was locked again and walked towards the car, I stood outside of his car admiring it.

"Are you getting in or not?" He asked smirking at me with his left hand on the wheel.

I climbed into the passenger seat, the car was filled with his aftershave. The smell brought me back to when he first wore it and he put too much on and choked us all out. I smiled to myself at the thought.

His brown hair fell across his forehead, he says it's his bed hair but really it's because he couldn't be bothered to sort it out, his eyes were focused on driving, he wore a white top, a black jacket and his ripped black jeans. This look suited him very well.

"You know that we are not together right? You don't have to take me to school."

"Yeah, I know." He smirked whilst heading towards the direction of the school.

He pulled into the school parking lot and parked where he always parks, just before we got out he placed his hand on top of my thigh and grasped it lightly.

"Don't worry, nobody will find out." He smiled at me and we got out of his car.

The people that were surrounding the car, stared at me and started whispering amongst themselves. I didn't know that I would get this much attention. I looked down to the floor and walked off hurriedly. Dylan ran past me, grazing his hand against mine and slipped a piece of paper into the palm of my hand.

I watched him run off towards his friends, he started fist bumping them and laughing as if it was a normal day for him, how could he not be nervous. I tightened my grip on the piece of paper he passed to me and rushed towards my locker.

I got to my locker and opened the small piece of paper, my heart was beating quickly.

"Wait for me after school - D x"

I bit the bottom of my lip to try and stop myself from smiling and hid my face so I didn't look like a nut case in front of anyone this early in the morning.

"What's that?" I shoved the piece of paper into one of the book pages as fast as I could, I spun around on my heels.

"What's what?" I asked, her eyes darted down at my hands looking puzzled.

"Poppie you scared me to death." I replied grabbing at my chest and chuckling.

"Funny, because you don't look scared, plus I wouldn't have if you were in this world." She replied laughing at me.

"Mine after school?" She asked with puppy dog eyes and begging with her hands clasped together.

"Sorry, I can't. I have to pack this weekend, or get at least most of it done."

I shrugged my shoulders and looked away to see if Dylan had come in yet. She looked heartbroken and looked down at the floor whilst shuffling her feet. I rolled my eyes and smiled at her grabbing her hand.

"How about Saturday?.. But not for long." I suggested. Her head lifted from where it hung and her eyes were shimmering.

"Yeah sure, Saturday's are always better for shopping." She said all giddy with a wide grin on her face.

It was twelve weeks until I had to move away, that was eleven weekends away, we had to try and get as much stuff into these weekends as possible. We were suppose to be going to Italy but now I don't think that would be possible anymore. I didn't know how to break the news to Dylan because I know he will be hurt when or if I tell him.

"ALICE!"

My head whipped round, oh no. Zoe was storming down the hall shoving this guy out of the way and anyone else that got in her way before approaching me.

"Yes, that is my name, how can I help you? Maybe a nice calming cup of tea." I said sarcastically with a smile playing on my lips.

"Oh shut it pig, Why were you getting out of Dylan's car this morning?" She demanded and spat at me.

"Someone's feisty but what's it got to do with you?" I glared back at her.

"Well... He is my boyfriend!" She glared back, crossing her arms.

What. I choked back, he never said anything about a girlfriend. And why Zoe of all people. Guilt was rushing through my body, for a second I thought my heart stopped. I just looked at her. I opened my mouth but nothing came out, my eyes wandered around before looking down at my shaking hands.

"I'm not your boyfriend Zoe. I gave her a lift but it has nothing to do with you." Zoe opened her mouth to speak.

"End of." Dylan said with a harsh tone.

Zoe flicked her hair over her shoulder with a huff and stomped off towards the classroom.

"Sorry about that." He spoke with an apologetic tone.

"It's okay." I smiled at him friendly.

He turned and walked off towards the math building.

"So them rumours are true!" Poppie grinned at me.

"Yeah, he gave me a lift to school so I wasn't late."

"Seriously? That's it? His the player, your no angel. Plus you were at school before I was, so I know you weren't going to be late."

"I'll see you during English pop." I laughed at her.

I raced off before she could try and stop to ask me why I laughed at her. I got settled into my chair and noticed there was a piece of paper on my desk. I opened the little piece of paper and it read:

"Meet me at lunch x"

I turned my head to face Dylan right away. It's his handwriting, so of course I knew it was him. I mouthed the words "where?". Within 2 minutes another note flung onto my desk. How was he so good at flinging paper?

I looked around to see if anyone noticed us and what a shocker... Zoe was giving me the death glare but only me and not him. I might as well give her something to be angry about apart from the car situation. I looked her straight in the eyes and gave her a smug smile as if she had just been defeated. I swear steam was pouring out of her nostrils. I laughed to myself before looking back down opening the note.

"Gym shed x"

I couldn't help but smile, my cheeks flushed red, I used my book as a fan to cool myself down. These past couple of lessons are going to drag but it was fun to wind Zoe up. After what seemed like ages, it was finally lunch. I made sure nobody followed me as I secretly dashed towards the gym shed.

I quietly opened the door to the gym shed surprised that it wasn't locked, the smell of gym equipment gushed out into the world as if it was suffocating inside. I took a final look before slipping inside. A soft hand grabbed me around my waist and another covered my mouth just as I closed the gym shed door.
