Those hurtful words were the last words I heard from him. He never came round to hang out, like he usually does. When ever I went to his, his mum told me he's not there or he was busy, he avoided me in school when ever I tried to approach him.

I sent numerous texts, emails and even a letter saying how sorry I was and that I wanted to tell him but couldn't find the right way to tell him. I rang his phone a million times, I left voicemails and still nothing. I asked his mum if he was okay and she looked upset, I'm guessing my mother finally told her that she was leaving.

I decided to leave him to cool down or try and get over the fact I never mentioned it to him, yes I was in the wrong and I should have told him sooner. I hated the way he found out, even I would be upset about it if it was the other way round.

"Are you never going to tell me about that little thing that happened in the canteen?"

"Why are you so obsessed about that incident."

"Because it just seems weird how you chased after him."

"Yeah I agree, it was very strange." Chloe laughed joining in the conversation.

"See someone else thinks it's weird."

I sat there and rolled my eyes at them before I spoke.

"Fine okay, I went after him because I felt like I owed him a sorry because you know, he helped me out when I was going to be late for school."

"Yeah right.." Poppie started but stopped when Jonah entered the room.

I watched her as she eyed him up and smiled to herself. Her cheeks flushed pink and she moved some of her hair behind her left ear. Me and Chloe sat forward and grinned at Poppie being a girl for once. Poppie realised we were looking at her and her face lit up bright red like a stop sign.

"What?" She asked.

"Well, is there something going on that you haven't shared?"

"Hmm" Chloe replied nodding her head in agreement.

"We hooked up a few times, that's it."

"As in.." I winked at her.

"God no, not that kind of thing like a quick make out sesh after a party or after work.." She replied nudging me having a shy smile on her pink lips.

"Why don't you just go out, it will be easier."

"Because I don't want to date him, I've got my eyes on someone else." She spoke quietly but enough for my ears to pick up what she was saying.

"What who?" Both me and Chloe asked at the same time.

"Oh, it's no one you know. He goes to Harry's university."

"Nice an older guy." Chloe spoke and without realizing what she said she blushed at the last moment.

We all laughed together and then carried on with the lesson as Mr Phillips entered.

"Costa after we finish?" Poppie whispered, me and Chloe nodded towards her before facing the front and listening to the lesson.

"Lucy, you coming with us. We're going to Costa."

I only mentioned Costa and she was already shoving her books into her bag and gliding through the seats and tablets to get to us. We walked over to Costa and ordered what we wanted.

"I'll have a large hot chocolate, extra cream please." I told the cute guy that was behind the counter. He was tall and lean, his soft brown hair in a textured fringe hairstyle, his black framed glasses suited his face very well. I noticed he had a tattoo on his forearm of an anime character.
