*PETER'S POV*
I woke up in the S.H.I.E.L.D. hospital bed and yawned. It's only my second day here and I already want to leave more than anything.
I glance at the chair beside me. Harley is slumped in it, sleeping. I smile to myself.
I nudge him with my foot. "Harley."
He jumps awake and rubs his eyes. "Oh, hey Pete..."
Happy bursts into the room loudly just then, followed by two S.H.I.E.L.D. officials. "Peter, Harley" he smiles and nods to me, "the doctors have decided to release you today. Your vitals are all good and your healing factor has sped the process up by a long mile."
I beamed and looked at Harley, who smiled back.
"Do you feel okay?" Happy asked seriously.
"Yes, I feel great." I threw the covers off of me and jumped out of the hospital bed. "Where's my backpack?"
I ran around the room, throwing open cabinets and closets. Harley pulled the backpack out from behind his chair. "Right here, crazy."
"Thanks," I muttered. I grabbed it and ran to the bathroom to get changed into actual clothes.
I changed into jeans, a red shirt, and my white high top Converse.
I walked out of the bathroom, stuffing my bloody Spider-Man suit into my backpack and throwing my hospital gown onto the bed.
"Ready to go?" Harley asked.
"Yep," I grinned and he stepped closer to me.
"Let me see it."
"Harley-"
"Let me see it."
I hesitantly raised my shirt up a little bit and showed him my wound.
"That's barely a scar," he scoffed and grabbed his stuff. "I wish I had a healing factor..."
"It's pretty great," I shrugged. "Saved my life multiple times."
"Yeah," he frowned and looked at me with sad eyes. "You really scared me. I thought you were gonna die."
"I'm sorry..."
"You need to be more careful."
"I know."
"Promise me."
I looked at him with a soft expression. "I promise. I'll be more careful."
"You better," Harley sighed. "If you die, I'll kill you."
"Note taken." I smiled. He looked at me and shook his head.
"Alright," Happy came back in with some paperwork. "You're good to go. By the way," he looked at Harley, "we have Goff and Molvotolv in containment. They're not getting out anytime soon."
