*FOUR YEARS LATER*

*morning of wedding: October 16, 2024*

*HARLEY'S POV*

It's 6:45 in the morning. I haven't been able to sleep for the past couple of days due to Peter and me getting married in less than 12 hours.

We are having our wedding in Rose Hill in my grandparent's barn. It's really ~aesthetic~. It's not red, it's white with a dark brown trim instead of a white trim. It's beautiful. Then leading from the barn is a path that leads through perfect rows of oak trees, their leaves falling and turning yellow, orange, brown, and red. That's going to be where the reception is.

There's still so much to do. I have to go to the barn and help finish up with the decorations. Pick up my suit. Remind all of the grooms' people to be there, not that they would forget, I'm just paranoid.

I look over next to me and see the love of my life sleeping. His arm under his pillow with his blanket pulled up to right under his chin. He would kill me if I woke him up this early. He has stuff to do as well. We split the responsibilities so one person wouldn't be doing all the work.

After months and months of planing what our theme would be we decided on an autumn color scheme due to it being autumn. We thought it would be nice.

I carefully get out of my bed, trying my best not to wake Peter. We've been living together, well since I was like 17, but just him and me, for about 2-3 years. We bought a house in Rose Hill so that way we can visit more often. Then we live in a penthouse near Central Park.

I sneak over to the control pad we have that has I.R.I.S. and Karen programmed into it. I type in "Wake Peter up with 'Don't Stop Me Now - Queen at 8:30 a.m. Don't turn it off until he is fully out of bed. Then begin my iconic playlist for him."

I set the alarm and go to the kitchen. I grab my little handy dandy wedding planning notebook with all my lists and things to do in it and go through everything I need to do for the sixth hundredth time. I need to make sure today is perfect.

I go through the list of grooms' people and make sure they're equal and I didn't forget anything.

Okay, there's Shuri.

Lila Rhodes. Her plane landed yesterday morning.

Michelle Jones.

Peter and her reconnected two years back. They ran into each other at a café and ended up talking and making up, so now, here we are.

Ned Leeds. Him and Michelle are staying at the Inn 15 minutes down the road from the barn.

Pietro is with Clint, down the road in a cabin.

Noah Bennett. He's my childhood friend.

"I.R.I.S. When's my suit appointment?" I open the fridge and begin to make some breakfast. I just went with a simple smoothie.

—8:00 a.m. sir.—

"Okay, thank you. Make sure Peter remembers to go to his today."

—I'll inform Karen and keep it a side note, sir—

"Thanks I.R.I.S." I pour my smoothie into a reusable, on-the-go cup and leave to go to get my suit.

I put in a bluetooth ear piece and start to go down the list calling the grooms' people.

"I.R.I.S. call Noah Bennett please."

—calling Noah Bennett—

"Hey Harley. What's up?" Noah says cheerfully through the phone.
