(A/N okay, people. *sits backwards in a chair like Captain America* YOU HAVE BEEN LACKING. we miss your comments :( *sighs* should we go back to the depressing shit because apparently that's what you guys seem to like *enter laughing emoji* but seriously, this book is almost over which means the series is almost over which THEREFORE MEANS I'll be crying my eyes out when it's finished. thanks for coming to my TED talk.)

*PETER'S POV*

I'm excited. Today we're having a back-to-school party because we like parties and needed a reason to have one and also because Harley and I are going back to college for the first time since the Snap.

I'm ready to go back. As much as I love living with my family and getting to see them everyday, I'm ready to be at MIT again. Plus me and Harley share a room.

I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I said in a sing-song voice while brushing my hair back.

Harley stepped in and closed the door behind him. "Hey baby boy," he wrapped his arms around my waist while I continued to work on my hair and I kissed him on the cheek.

"Your hair looks fine," he laughed. I scoffed, "I know but I have to make it look better than fine."

"What, do you have a date tonight or something?" He joked.

"Actually, yes. I do."

"Mm? With who?"

"My boyfriend." I finally stopped brushing my hair and looked at him with my eyebrows raised.

"Interesting," he smiled.

"Come give me a kissyyy," I said in a baby voice. He laughed and planted a kiss right on my lips. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. I bent down and gave him another kiss, and he leaned his head upward to meet my lips.

"Now you get to see what it's like to be the shorter one," I laughed. "Not for long," he whispered and set me down with a victorious grin.

(A/N is it just me or is opening a closed door at a party literally the scariest thing ever? and then when you finally open it and no one's in there, your heart is like ahhh, whew.)

We walked out of my room, laughing, and saw the Avengers having a talk on the couch. Pietro was talking and Clint was beside him, nodding along. I looked at Harley and he looked back at me. We both ran to the living room and heard the last bit of what Pietro was saying.

"...that it was time to tell you guys. We didn't want to at first because... well we didn't know how you guys would react to it."

"I think he told them," I whispered to Harley and he smiled.

"Peter already knew," Clint said to the group and I whipped my head back around. Everyone was staring at me. "He saw us kissing in the hallway."

Silence.

I've gotta say something now?!

"Yep," I smiled awkwardly. "I haven't known for long, though. I'm glad you told everyone."

"Did you tell anyone?" Clint asked.

I side-eyed Harley. "Only Harley..." I looked down at the floor.
