"Class, we have some new students joining us today." our teacher announced. My head slowly lifted up from gazing intently down at my notebook, my cheeks resting on my knuckles as I bit my inner cheek anxiously.
Bronwyn and Rhianna exchanged looks at me before gazing back to the front of the class. I could tell they felt some worry about these supposed new classmates but with the current situation of what's happened, I don't necessarily blame them.
As if just on cue, two new students came in. Male and female. Probably siblings. They both matched dark brown hair. The boys hair was cut short whilst the girls was long and had loose ends. Both enriched with chocolate brown eyes and tanned skin. The girl was painted in makeup to hide her true identity whilst the boys skin could not be flawed.
The girl was dressed in a short black skirt and a plain grey skirt tucked into the skirt with black heels. Whilst the boy wore baggy denim jeans, deathly pale converse and had a white t-shirt with the logo carved in red at the top small pocket and had a baggy denim jacket on.
"Meet Liam and Molly." the teacher announced, at the sound of their own names, the two siblings exchanged glances. The teacher pointed two fingers towards to empty chairs and they both took their seats.
My eyes were glued on them as I watched them take their seats. "Well they think they're everything." I heard Bailey mumble.
Me and Bronwyn stifled a laugh, "You're right about that." I commented. Noticing Molly flick her hair over her shoulder, I glanced at Bronwyn and watched her mimic the action. I chuckled, biting my bottom lip so I couldn't blow our cover.
All across the lesson, I felt as if I was being watched, my eyes drifted towards the two new students, their eyes trailed down back to their work from our direction. I knew something was off.
I kept my eyes on them as I watched Liam lift his head back up again, he then smirked, I followed his eye trail, he was looking at Rhianna, I looked at Rhianna's small smile on her face but I could tell she was all excited and giddy inside.
I shook my head in dismay then concentrated down at my work. Class seemed to go extremely slow but it eventually ended, standing up out of my seat, I felt a small tap on my shoulder, turning around I saw Molly standing in front of me, "The name's Molly." she greeted, seeming rather happy and bubbly. I nodded my head.
"Blair."
She smiled, "It's so good to meet you Blair, I've heard about outstanding ratings of this school that me and my brother, Liam, couldn't help but come here." she explained. I let out a fake chuckle that seemed to be true in her eyes, my eyes drifted towards Rhianna, Jake, Bailey and Bronwyn waiting for me outside, but Rhianna was talking to the new student Liam.
"Did you hear about the blackout going over towns at the minute, it's been all over the news." she told me, stuffing her pencils into the small bag she had, "Yeah, this dead town experienced it yesterday." I told her.
"Oh really, how did it feel? As a kid I had a fear of the dark, it must've been scary." she said, looking down at her feet.
"This is why we have torches on our phones."
She chuckled as if it was the most hilarious thing in the entire world, "You're the funny one Blair, I'll see you around, I hope we can be friends." she said with an innocent smile wiped on her face, I didn't say anything but nodded my head as we booth walked out, I walked over to Bronwyn giving her the look that something was off.
My eyes focussed on Molly as she had to physically drag Liam away from Rhianna. "Something is off about them." I bluntly stated.
Rhianna looked surprised, "They seem okay to me, and that Liam is definitely something." she said, taking a sneaky glance at Liam. "Something weird." Bronwyn said, folding her arms.
