I felt the light scarring my eyesight, the blurring lines of reality soon became visible to me, as the plain dull ceiling of the detention room came into sight.
"Blair!" a familiar voice spoke in relief as Levi's appearance towered over my body, he didn't seem like the type to smile, but when it did, he suited him perfectly, "I'm glad you're okay!" he spoke.
I nervously chuckled, "Y-Yeah, I'm fine." I answered as I gradually hoisted myself up so I sat up presentably. I looked around the room, there was only me, Levi and Aries still in the room. My eyebrows furrowed, "Where's everyone else?" I questioned curiously, my head turning to Levi for an answer.
"Oh, they all decided to head home, Vivian went out for some snacks for you and her tonight, she said she'd be back in an hour or so, apparently you're staying over at hers or something?" Levi explained, arching an eyebrow in curiosity. I nodded my head, "Yeah, she didn't want to be all alone for a week so I offered to stay at hers." I replied, "That reminds me, I should probably head home and get my stuff."
I placed my hand on the ground to help myself up, but a stinging pain launched through my hand causing me to hiss sharply and retract it away, "You're hand is burnt from the electricity." Aries stated. I lifted my head up to him confused as he made his way over to the two of us, "What do you mean?" I asked curiously, tilting my head to one side.
"What I mean is, when you was in your Aries' form you grabbed a sentence from the story it was trying to tell you, it was a stupid decision really, once you grabbed it, it electrified you so powerfully it was enough to scar you with a burn, not only that but you used the sentence to attack Sagittarius." he explained, out of everything that unravelled that's the only part I can't seem to wrap my head around, I don't understand why.
I shrugged off the weary feeling, as the door swung open revealing Vivian tossing a bag full of snacks onto the floor carelessly, her eyes lit up on seeing my awake figure, "You're awake!" she sang melodiously, as she ushered to my side, she kneeled down beside me, and held my burnt hand in her two hands, "You're burnt..." she muttered worriedly.
"I-It's fine," I reassured, "It'll heal eventually." I spoke as I retracted my hand away from her touch, I knew it was going to sting for a while but it's the price I have to pay for being so reckless. Vivian nodded her head, "Yeah, when I get full ability of my powers, I'll definitely be able to take care of your wounds for you!" Vivian spoke, her fist was clenched in front of her face, showing sheer determination.
"Also, I invited Scarlett and Chi to stay the night with us, if you don't mind," she began, agile on changing the subject, "You know, it can be a fun night for us all, don't you think, Scarlett was going to ask Chi to stay at hers tonight anyways so it's pretty simple, it'll be fun right?" she asked with an ear-to-ear grin.
I nodded my head, but my eyebrows furrowed, "Didn't you say Scarlett annoyed you?" I questioned, which caused Vivian to sweat drop nervously, "Maybe, but I was rather judgemental too quick, she's actually a funny girl, you know?" she asked.
She jerked her body away from me and Levi and went to go pick up the snacks that sprawled out across the floor, "I told Scarlett my address and her and Chi are going to come later on, it'll give us plenty of time to get your stuff together and get my living room sorted out, it's going to be super fun!" she cheered excitedly, standing up, tugging the bag with all her might as she stood.
Levi turned his attention from Vivian to face me, "Are you okay with standing?" he asked, I looked into his eyes before looking down at my legs, "I would like to think so." I replied, pushing the weight onto my legs, hoisting myself up, Levi gently touching my arm in case I fell due to the loss of balance, my stance wobbled a little but I was able to maintain it. I placed my hands onto my hips successfully, "I'm okay!" I spoke with confidence.
