Hi, I'm Rickie. Rickie Mavis. I'm a senior at San Francisco High. I have reddish brown hair and hazel eyes. My best friend and neighbour, Annabeth, and I were heading to school. It was Friday and I, personally, couldn't wait for this day to get over so I could go home, sit on my bed and watch a good movie while drinking coffee and eating chocolate.
"Hey, Annie! Why so cheerful?" I said.
"My boyfriend's coming to pick me from school today. After that we're going to that camp I told you about. And what did I tell you about calling me Annie?"
"Oh please, you know you love it. Though, I still don't believe that you have a boyfriend, you know."
"I know. No one ever believe us when we say we are dating someone. I don't know why, though."
"Probably cause they're idiots. Not saying that I'm an idiot but you never talk about him! You can't blame me for not believing you!"
"Alright. So you want to know how he looks? Well, he has raven-black hair and sea-green eyes that are the perfect shade. They look exactly like the ocean. He's incredibly loyal, so I don't ever worry that he's gonna cheat on me. He's really stupid though." She said chuckling.
"Aw! Someone's in love!"
"Shut up!"
We reached school and we made our way to math.
"Ugh! I'm in no mood to do math now! I just wanna sleep" I whine.
Annabeth just chuckles shaking her head.
"Hey, just because you're in a good mood doesn't everyone has to be in a good mood."
"Okay okay, I'm sorry. If you want you can copy my answers. But just today, deal?"
"Deal. Man, am I lucky to have a friend like you."
Mr. Madam enters and he gives us problems to solve. I swear that's his real name, I'm not kidding. I,of course, use Annabeth's good mood to copy the answers.

(After school's done)

The bell rang and everyone, including me, ran out of the class. Not to brag, but I was the first one out the class. Yes, that is something to be proud of. You do not want to waste even a single moment of your weekend. Trust me, it's not worth spending your weekend only on school. Emphasis on only. I do study during the weekends. At least, for an hour. I headed out of the building to see Annabeth with her head buried in a book. That girl. I swear, I've never seen her without a book.
"Hey, Beth! Where's your boyfriend?"
"He's coming. Soon. I hope. He always runs late. And do not call me Beth."
"Oh, stop whining. Would you rather me call you Beth? Whatcha reading?"
" You're right, Annie is better. To answer your second question, The Mortal Instruments. It's about these people who kill demons and wear black like almost all the time."
"I've seen the movie. That's all I have patience for. I can't read books. You know that. The movie was really good though."
At that moment, a blue Mustang came into view. A tall guy with raven-black hair came out. I looked over to Annie and she was reading her book not aware of her surroundings. The boy put a finger to his lips and started to creep up behind her.

"Hey, seaweed brain. Don't even try to scare me. You know it's not possible." Annabeth said suddenly.
"Aw, I'll get you someday, wise girl." Tall guy said.

I raised my eyebrow at the nicknames. I thought Annabeth hated nicknames.
"This is my friend, Rickie," she said to Percy. Then, turning towards me said, "Rickie, this is my boyfriend, Percy."
"Hi," I said, sizing him up to see whether he was good enough for Annabeth.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you." Percy said.

I glared at him. Annabeth seemed too good for him. But, its her choice. If he breaks her heart, then I'll break him.
"Okay, enough of the glaring Rickie. You don't have to do that. You know I can take care of myself." Annabeth said.
"I know, Annie. But be careful."
"Annie? You let her call you Annie?" Percy said," You don't even let Thalia call you that. Except for sometimes, when she visits."
"Shut up, seaweed brain. Rickie's an amazing friend. Plus she said if I didn't let her call me Annie, she would call me Beth. And we all know that Annie is way better than Beth." Annie said.

Aw! I feel so loved.

"Yeah, okay. Wait till I tell Thals about this!" He said, snorting.
"You wouldn't dare!" Annabeth threatened.

Aw, so adorable. Although, I think they forgot I was here.

"Hey guys, as much as I love watching you bicker, I really want to go home." I said.

"Yeah, Percy, we need to drop her and then we can go to camp."
"Sure." Percy said. We got into the car and that is how I met Percabeth.

Avengers marathon, here I come!
