The next day Caitlin decided to resume her everyday schedule and try to avoid and ignore everything that involved Barry or Team Flash. Luckily, since Ramona took the night shift at the hospital, Caitlin wouldn't have to confront her about talking to Barry since she slept all morning.

Driving Melony to school, Caitlin decided to turn on the radio to drown out her thoughts. A few minutes into the drive, Caitlin looked in the mirror reflecting Mel in the back seat. She was dancing and singing in her car seat.

Caitlin smiled, she definitely doesn't get that from me, she thought.

When they arrived at the school, Caitlin walked in with Melony so she could drop off a few pieces of paperwork. Before she exited the front door, Noah ran and caught up to her.

"Hey," he said, trying to catch his breath.

Caitlin grinned, "hey."

" I know our conversation yesterday was cut a bit short," he said.

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that..."

"No no, it's fine. It's just that I only have few minutes before the 1st bell if you wanna finish it," he replied, "god I must seem desperate..." he smiled.
wiping sweat off of his forehead.

"No, you aren't. And I'd love to continue our conversation, but maybe over dinner instead?"

"Dinner? I mean, dinner. Yeah, yes, sure... tonight?"

"I'd love to," Caitlin smiled at his nerdiness, "I'll have my roommate watch Melony tonight."

"Alright," Noah smiled, "I'll pick you up at 7?"

"See you then," Caitlin replied, to which she and Noah finally said their goodbyes.

Exiting the school and heading to her car, Caitlin leaned back in relief in the driver seat of her used minivan. Who knew normal could feel so refreshing, she thought.

.........

When Caitlin got back to the apartment she tossed her shoes off, tossed her keys on the kitchen counter, and threw herself on the couch. She enjoyed the rare days when she got to relax and not do any urgent mom chores.

Luckily, Ramona was in the shower, so she had a good thirty minutes before being interrogated about her baby daddy who really isn't her baby daddy.

Caitlin let her eyelids fall before she felt a quick woosh of air. She opened her eyes and found herself in Star Labs, confronted by Barry, Iris, and Cisco.

"What the hell!?" She yelled.

"You're moving back," Barry commanded dryly.

"Who says you get to decide that?!"

"When you decided to sleep with the enemy and then hide my daughter from me!" Barry began to yell. The remaining members of Team Flash sat uncomfortably in the corner of the cortex.

"You're daughter?!" Caitlin began to feel furious, "Melony is not your daughter, not even remotely. So you have no say in where we live or what we do in our lives!"

"Genetics says otherwise, Caitlin. If you're forgetting, Savitar was me! She is my daughter, and if you don't think so I WILL go to court," he threatened.

Caitlin was now at the height of her anger, "You are NOT Savitar! You are NOT, Melony's father! She is Savitar and MY daughter, who you have not even said the name of at all since you found out. And don't even TRY to threaten me with a custody suit, because all that would do is satisfy what you want, Barry. Maybe for once in your life, can you please stop acting so selfish and inconsiderate?! I doubt you have talked to anyone else on this team about this matter because if you did you would know Cisco has known about her for the past six years. Also, ever come to think about talking to your wife?! How does Iris feel about you wanting to father another woman's child, or that some future evil remnant of you fell in love with another woman? All you do is think of yourself, and to hell with what happens to the people in your life. I mean, look at Flashpoint, Eddie, Ronnie, Cisco's brother, HR, even Savitar was a creation of your bad choices?! Do you not even try to sympathize?! NO! Because 'no one feels more pain than Barry Allen, the orphan!' Different types of hurt and pain don't erase others. You know I was crazy nine years ago when Ronnie told me to leave Central City to have a NORMAL LIFE, and I said no. I said no! Because I felt the need to stay here and help you play your dumb game of hero!..." Caitlin sighed. "Well, good job Flash your Central City's beacon of hope... but take a look at what you took from your friends..."

Barry was speechless, he didn't know how to respond. The others sat silently in the corner as well, watching the interaction with both fear and worry.

Seconds past, with not another word.

"Cisco, breach me back," Caitlin said walking towards him.

...........

Later that night...

"Wow... you look great," Noah said, as Caitlin opened her apartment door.

"Thank you," Caitlin blushed, "and you clean up nice."

"Thanks," he smiled. "Ready for tonight?"

"Ready."

"Have her back by midnight!" Ramona yelled from inside the apartment.

"No promises!" Noah replied as he and Caitlin began to walk to the elevator.

Caitlin smiled, "so what do you have planned, Mr. Salvino?"

"A night you won't forget, Ms. Snow."
