[Third Person's POV]

It was a Friday night, the night was calm and the moon was out, shining as bright as the stars.

Currently, it was 9:00 o'clock and the Avengers decided to have a quick Game Night since they rarely spent time together.

The one who came up with the idea was Clint, who was trying to prove to Scott that he could totally win at any literature or 'nerdy' board game.

When Clint had this marvelous idea, the Avengers were actually getting quite bored with their current activities.

Thor and Steve were having a deep discussion about the fascinating sales at the grocery store.

Bruce and Rhodey were trying to find excuses to leave the room and head to their bedrooms so they could finally get some sleep.

Peter was listening intently to Bucky who was sharing stories about the missions he had gone on during the war, every once in a while asking Bucky questions.

Natasha was sharpening her knifes while arguing with Tony about how important it was for Peter to start working on his reflexes, like maybe a good practice technique could be shooting him when he wasn't looking; Tony almost had a heart attack when she suggested that.

As soon as Clint suggested that they should play a board game, most of them looked relieved.

Well, before Clint mentioned it had to be 'nerdy' and educational.

It was silent before Peter shyly suggested Scrabble.

Deciding it fit the category, everyone gathered around the coffee table while Peter ran to his room to get the board game.

It was awkwardly silent as they awaited his return.

Thankfully, Peter returned in a few minutes, panting slightly with the board game in hand.

He sat in between Natasha and Tony before opening the box.

Inside there was the 15x15 grid and 4 stands making Peter look at the group nervously, "Who wants to play first?"

Tony, Clint and Steve raised theirs hands eagerly while Natasha grudgingly raised her hand.

The rest of the Avengers didn't argue so Peter passed them the box.

The four set up the board game before deciding who should go first.

"I guess I'll go" Steve answered before placing down the letter 'i' on the grid, "I will put down 'i' to make 'i'."

"I will add to your 'i' to make 'in'" Natasha answered, placing the letter n next to the i.

It was silent as Clint stared at the grid before shrugging his shoulders, "I will add to your 'in' to make 'line'."

Clint places the letter l and e onto the grid before the air once again became tense as everyone stared at Tony, waiting for his move.

With wide eyes, everyone watched as he placed the letters 'e', 'a', 'r', 't', 'h', 's', and another 's' to make up an 11 letter word, "I will add to your 'line' to make 'earthliness'."

It was terribly silent, a pin drop could be heard, before Clint stood up and glared at Tony.

Not giving Tony a chance to speak, Clint flipped the table, "What the fuck!"

And that is how the tradition of Game Night every Friday started.
