"Wake up, Ember. I woke up late so you only have 30minutes to get ready." My older brother Jaylen says. "Why didn't mom or dad wake me up then?" I ask.

"They are at work already. It's 5a.m.! Hurry woman." He says closing my door. I groan and get up. I grab a black and white hoodie that says, "Billie Eilish" on the back and black pants and my white slip on vans. I grab my iPhone X and see it's 5:20. I have about 20 more minutes so I brush my teeth and do my hair. I grab my phone and put it in my back pocket. "5minutes. The bus will be here in 5!" I roll my eyes at my brothers voice.

I grab my bag and walk downstairs. "Bye loser." I say and head to the bus stop.

"Hey E!" My friends, Ally and Jade, call me by the nick name they gave me. "Hey." I say and see Chase and his girlfriend Cynthia talking. I roll my eyes and Jade says, "He just ignores you now.. I hate her. She kissed almost every guy in the school. Even the nerd, Jackson. Ew." I laugh and nod. The bus comes and we all get on.

We walk in the school and go to our lockers. "I heard there is gonna be a new kid, today. I'm excited. Hopefully they call me up to show him around!" Ally says, closing her locker. "You have a boyfriend..why?" Jade says, I nod and Ally says, "He is a jock. Who likes jocks, c'mon.."

"Hey Em, have you seen my "Vans" hoodie?" Chase says, walking to me. With Cynthia on his side, like a dog! I shake my head no and they walk off. "Douchè bag." Ally says under her breathe and the bell rings. "Bye guys!" I say and head to Math.

"Happy Thursday everyone! Today we are learning more about Calculus." Everyone groans as Mr.Kert says that. I click my pen and the front office buzzes.

"Mr.Kret, can we have Ember to the office with her stuff?"

"Yes you may, Ember grab the homework." I nod and grab my things and the homework. I head to my locker and put the homework in there and close it.

"Hey." I say, Mrs.Young looks at me and smiles. "Hey sweetie! This is Payton, Payton this is Ember. Payton is new and I need someone to show him around and since you are the only one I could find passing every class and getting extra credit everyday I picked you."

"Hey.." Payton says, smiling. I smile and say, "Hey! Yes, I'll show him around and to his locker!" She smiles and her and Payton walk out.

"May I see your paper, Payton?"

He nods and hands it to me. "Locker 396. Mine is 394 so we are beside each other." He smirks and we head to the lockers. "Here is yours." He nods and we head through the school and chat.

"And Finally this is the GYM. Well, it's lunch time so follow me."

Me and Payton walk through the line and he grabs a apple. We sit and a table and start eating. "Hey E!" Ally says and her and Jade sit down. "Hey! This is Payton. This is Jade and Ally!" They wave and we all eat.

We all get our things and start heading home. "Hey Ember!" I hear someone say behind me. Payton. I smirk and he says, "I was wondering if I could get your number." He says. I smirk and nod. I put my contact in as "Ember👑💕" he smirks and puts his in mine as, "Payton😍🤪"

Monday.

I walk through the halls and see Payton. He waves and I walk to him.

"Hey! What's up?" I say, smiling. "I know we've only known each other for 5days but I really like you... will you be my girlfriend?" I nod and hug him.

Someone clears their throat. We pull away and see Chase.. "hey?" Payton says. "Ember can I speak to you?" I shake my head no and say sorry. He nods and walks off,

"What did you ask her?!" I hear Cynthia yell. I watch them. Payton looks confused.

"It's none of your business!" He yells back.

"We are through." Chase rolls his eyes and says, "Go fuck someone okay?" I laugh softly and Chase walks off. Leave Cynthia speechless.

I've been ignoring Chase for a couple of days now and it's pretty good and I hope he is doing okay- no! He is being rude and doesn't talk to me no more..
